1.) Gave a fair estimate 2.) Furnished an experienced crew. 3.) Completed what he said would be done. 4.) Cleaned and cleared all the debris. 5.) Required payment only after the job was complete with a walk through. The above reasons sum up my entire experience with Roman Empire Tree. The rest of this review is a diatribe as to why I was initially skeptical of this company, and how my opinion changed. I'm on a social security budget, so, as a senior citizen living in Florida, I have the right to feel that anyone who does work on my property is ready to fleece me. This was my first time using HomeAdvisor, and although I read how they check out companies, I was intimidated by their "Terms of Service Agreement", which, as in all of today's terms of service agreements, essentially said, "We are not responsible for anything that might go awry." Period. Well, with reference to Roman Empire Tree, Home Advisor's recommendation is solid. Roman Empire Tree had many five-star reviews. When a company is raved about on any forum, I look for the disgruntled reviews to see what the issues were about. This might give an insight into a problem. I could only find one poor review (Three Stars), for Roman. Not really a make or break problem. No one can be THAT good. Boy, was I wrong. Jesse Roman came out and gave me an estimate. Compared to two other estimates, his was in the middle. But the way he explained what he was going to do, and what else he could do while he was on the property impressed me. I know just enough about tree trimming to be dangerous. He lives trees, and everything he suggested and observed made sense. The crew came in to my rather small parcel of land, removed the tree I needed removed, and trimmed all the other trees we had discussed. This was done in the time frame given, safely, and efficiently. I was amazed how they maneuvered all the large limbs and branches I'm my small yard, out to the front for their chopper, and more impressively, avoided infringing on my neighbors. On the estimate and a hand shake, Jesse's crew did their job. The only other paper that was signed was his well deserved payment after the job was completed. I haven't asked him yet, bit if Jesse's company does home repair I will be using him more often. If not, I'll check in with HomeAdvisor. Too bad the entire world doesn't operate like Roman Empire Tree. But that would leave us seniors with nothing to complain about.

This company is rapid fast and the best pricing, Jesse is a great guy and he's in and out, no messing around. My Dad was in the plumbing business (Harmon & Thacker) for 40 years and he's never seen a man operate this efficient. Thank you!

Jesse and his team did an excellent job removing some downed tress and branches after the hurricanes. As part of the cleanup, they also trimmed all the palm trees at a fair and reasonable price. They arrived on time, cleaned up the yard, and hauled all the debris to the curb. I would not hesitate to use them again. Jesse is respectful and very knowledgeable.

Jesse--has old time work ethic values--will definitely use again in the future. Would highly recommend for anyone needing tree service--our particular job was very "tricky" and tedious due to location to house and landscaping--came through with only one plant damaged and no house damage. Thank you Jesse and crew.

After the hurricane hit I knew we needed help with the yard. Jesse and his crew arrived quickly to take care of us. Not only were they professional and got the job done. They were friendly and stopped to take the time to explain things to me.

Quote specified cutting all ft on the ground. IF to fireplace length and stacking it.. I discovered after Roman left that one large log was left on the ground. If I had been aware of this I would not have paid.

Jesse provides the ultimate service. I had some work and got a few quotes. I was about ready to hire another service, but thought in wanted one more opinion. Jesse responded to my quote request within 12 hours, met me at my property and then proceeded to save me significant $'s while giving me some of the best service i have every received from anyone in the service business. He worked with me and a partner, gave me great options and then delivered wonderful service. I am recommended Jesse to anyone i know who needs tree service. I am using Jesse again very soon, and will tell you if he does another excellent job.
