They were great, Fred was upfront and reasonable with his price, and more importantly, they finished when they said they would. The finished project was more than I could ask for, and I'll be using RI-TAN again for future projects.

Fred LaMarre may be the best finish carpenter that I've ever used, and his crew is equally meticulous and exacting. I had spent nearly four hundred dollars on having some ostentatious, oversized corner blocks custom fashioned from northern California. Although I was hell-bent on using them, Fred gently talked me off of the ledge by convincing me that they were simply too ornate for the style of our home-- which tuned out to be an excellent call. We had nearly 500 linear feet of M45 five-and-a-quarter inch crown; Fred cut and coped it with absolute precision, after which his team caulked & painted it without issue (including the "great room" with its sixteen-foot ceilings.) I would recommend Ri-Tan, without reservation, to anyone desiring high-quality finish carpentry.
