Everything is great ð
The gentleman that came out was wonderful. Kept me informed told me what he thought needed to be done. Took care of everything.
Very quick, replaced system in 2 days
Cristian from RS Andrews did an outstanding job performing seasonal maintenance on our heat pump and air handling unit. He was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. Additionally he adjusted the dampers in ventilation system, located in our attic space. He demonstrated this process so I can do it myself in the future, if I need to. Extremely professional young man, very courteous. Highly recommended!
cx contacted they were awesome!
Called out RS Andrews for their $59 service special as our previous HVAC person has moved to CA. The service man said one unit was full of mold and bacteria and had pics to show the mold. He also showed that one heat pump coils were full of lint from the drier vent. However he then does not clean either handler or heatpump saying he couldnâ t get the units wet as they are electric. Our previous service guy had used a water hose to clean the heat pumpsâ coils and some sort of spray and vacuum for the air handlers. The â servicemanâ does tell us that the lint clogged heat pumpâ s compressor is bad and the Freon is low but since it used R22 he couldnâ t repair it. He also never knocked to come in after the first door bell ring giving us no time to grab our escape artist dog, luckily she didnâ t escape. So we call to get an estimate on replacing the system and the salesman tells us that they quit using R22 10 years ago and it was not available which is not true. The estimate was $11,500 for a 2 ton Carrier system. We called Millers for a 2nd estimate who interesting enough have an ad warning about companies sending out people who donâ t repair or service but do set up for their salesmen. Millersâ salesman upon hearing that our system still works fine decided to check the â badâ unit. After inspection he says two parts were going out and can be easily replaced. He also checked the Freon and said it was good. We have now scheduled them to do a service call and replace the parts. We did ask him what would have been the cost to replace the system with a Carrier and it was thousands cheaper. RS Andrews was a waste of time and money
