We love our new deck and trash can corral. The wood they use is so beautiful I think it looks like a piece of art. We love the end product.

Couldn't be happier! Our new deck is strong and beautiful with the black iron balusters on the railings. The extra effort that was put in to finish and sand the handrails was greatly appreciated. The roof over the deck with the vaulted ceiling and cedar beams came out better than I could have possibly imagined, and is almost like an art piece. All of our neighbors have complimented us, and we've also received many favorable comments on he unique steps and lower deck with the pergola and its decorative rafters. (Can't wait for warmer weather!) The craftsmanship and care, and the extra ways Rick and the crew went above and beyond were awesome. Good communication and good service. Great work and great value for the money. We are using RA Building & Design right now for our basement remodel that is in progress, and going great. We would highly recommend them to anyone as Rick and his crew are highly skilled, genuinely nice people, and wonderful to work with.

Would not recommend this contractor. Poor communication, poor quality control and horrible customer service. For boards that were supposedly "hand-picked" by contractor, numerous prominent boards had to be replaced due to serious defects that were unnoticed prior to installation. This company is all about the money and insisted on being paid every other day it seemed without even giving me the courtesy of asking about job/phase satisfaction. Good first impression didn't last long. Contractor made it a point to be gone before I could return from work and inspect work. Contractor was in such a rush to leave , sent final invoice without inspecting if all work was done. Major gaping hole left in stairs and only returned when money was withheld. Much harder than it needed to be and unfortunately could not recommend them to anyone based on my experience. Quite disappointed overall.

Nicest owners ever! Sue runs thebusiness office side and Rick is in charge of the actual construction with top notch planing. We chose them over the others because of their professional & Christian attitude plus quality products. We r looking forward to our Deck to be constructed the end of July or early August

RA Building and design did a great job from start to finish. Always prompt with communication, cleaned up the work sight everyday, adapted well to modifications from original design, detailed plan and payment schedule, and quality work. The whole experience was smooth and hassle free. Rick, Sue, and the crew were a pleasure to work with. We love our new outdoor living space!!

Rick, Sue and their staff are a pleasure to work with. They are attentive to your needs and wants. They replaced our existing deck with a new deck, screened in room and pergola. It is absolutely beautiful! They are expert craftsmen and so much more. The quality of work and attention to detail is like no other. They clearly pride themselves in their work and they should. Their pricing is excellent. I was worried when they came to share their plans with us that it would be over our budget, which we had not shared with them.
