RA Building and Design tore down our existing decks and rebuilt a combined deck for our home. From the beginning, they were a pleasure to work with. The quality of the deck outstanding. The owners are always available to talk and gave us a thorough explanation of what the job would entail. We even wanted a redesign of our stairs after the job had started and that was not a problem. We are already looking at future jobs around our home and RA Building and Design will be our first call.

This company completed a new deck for our home. They did fantastic work. I had never had a crew work at our home that worked so hard and took pride in what work. We plan to use this company again when work is needed at our home.

We were so impressed and pleased with their service on our deck project, we're now going to be working with them on our master bath remodel. The project was a total remodel of the house. This included new floors, painting, handicap tub, new pantry, a new deck and numerous other side projects. These folks are a real blessing to deal with. They are so very nice, they answer questions quickly and their workmanship is superb. If you want it done correctly these are the folks to hire, they will go the extra mile to ensure you are a happy customer and one that will recommend them to others. I have hired a lot of contractors in my time, but none as great to deal with as these folks. I have already started a second large project with them as I was so impressed with them the first time around. I would highly recommend them for any size project you have. This was our first "big" project in which we hired professionals. The deck on our home was poorly built, nails were popping out, and we did not feel safe using it or the stairs. While I was initially nervous about using a company we found online, the first time we met Rick and Sue, it was like sitting down with friends we had known for years! We quickly learned they are outstanding people and we were confident they would do outstanding work. They closely listened to what we needed and wanted in a new deck. They returned with a beautifully designed (huge) deck that not only met our needs, but also our wants and more. The deck was built and the work site was kept neat and tidy, which was appreciated by our HOA. They were concerned for our young children and made sure every nail and screw was collected at the end of each day. Our custom deck was not a traditional rectangle "box" deck, but has an appealing look and details we never would have imagined on our own. All of our neighbors and friends have complimented the design and character of our deck. Not only is it designed well, but the construction is solid and safe. The materials used were of high quality (ground contact treated lumber) and will last years to come. My wife and are very picky and we have zero complaints or issues. Rick is a perfectionist and regularly made adjustments and corrections that were not even noticeable to us (and we were closely looking!). I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with RA Building & Design. Not only would we, without reservation, recommend them to family and friends, we will personally use them again and again. A trustworthy and honest couple who works hard to please their clients, does perfectionist work, designed a solid deck that was beautiful and exceeded every expectation. We could not ask for more!

Rick and Sue were a pleasure to work with. They kept me informed of delays and costs during the entire project. Get on the calendar if you need a project. You won't regret it.
