I would like to thank the team for getting the project done on time and as stated. They are team oriented, clean, professional and very polite. They executed the job on time, they said 3 days and it took them exactly 3 days. From the prep work to application and even painting, everything was very organized and clean. They are very responsive to any questions or concerns I may have had. Don't ever judge a book by it's cover, I did because they are a young crew but I was surprised with such excellent professionalism.

I recently purchased a 30 yr old home with old popcorn on the ceilings. After receiving estimates from three companies, I chose Jax Popcorn Removal. Shawn had impressed me from the initial meeting, showing up on time (even waiting for me) and was professional and very good at explaining what to expect in the process of the job. I had approx 2000 sq feet to remove and replace with knock down. He had a team of guys complete the job - everyone was great! Over the course of 4 days last Labor Day weekend, my house was wrapped in plastic, next day, scrapers (Mano/Emmanuel) came in and removed the popcorn -super job! Another team repaired my garage ceilings where tape had been peeling away, and then Kris come in and completed the knockdown. Last day Shawn’s cleanup crew took away the mess! GREAT work done by all! Kris returned to complete some minor touch ups around the paint working meticulously to ensure my satisfaction. I can tell Kris and all the guys really took pride in their work. Thanks Shawn and everyone for timeliness and coordination in this major dirty job. You all made my new home much better, taking it out of the 1980’s popcorn dust bowl. Great work!!

Our ceilings look great! Very professional and the project was completed on time. They used Killz to paint the ceilings and they came out nice and white. Would definitely recommend and use them again in the future.

Shawn and Sean did fantastic work and finished quicker than we expected! My ceiling no longer has the hideous popcorn and the knockdown looks great! Thanks guys!

I was reading the reviews of this company and someone left a very negative review and I don't know how someone would leave a bad comment about this company. They were wonderful to work with, if I have an issue, they come back and fix the problem. The project came out great and I would recommend this company to anybody.

Was supposed to be a 3 day job which turned into 7 days. Thought I asked enough questions and made it clear what I wanted. Wasn't told I would be unable to live there for 3 days. Did not use Killz like I wanted and the ceiling was horribly bleeding immediately the following day. There were also spots missed everywhere. They removed the sheets at this point. They sent a painter out the following day so they could rectify the problem and collect their final check and get out. There are paint spots over my floor and wall because they weren't properly resheeted. After the painter was there, the problems were still there even through the next coat of paint. Was told they were using a high quality of paint but camera footage showed the same stuff they originally used and one of the partners came over and saw the issues. He then added Killz and ceiling paint mix to the already 4 layers of everything up on the ceiling. Most of the spots went away, but my concern is for a few months to years down the road. After spraying there is paint residue all over my brand new cabinets which had to be scrubbed down along with the brand new countertop. There is fine specs of paint all over the floor now as well which didn't come up with a normal cleaner and swiffer, so I'll have to hire someone to hand scub them out as well. For the amount of money I paid, I wanted the right materials and process to ensure this exact situation did not happen. Now I'm hoping that it doesn't bleed through and the ceiling doesn't collapse from all the layers.
