The Absolute Worst - Steer Clear at All Costs! We wish I could give zero stars or negative stars for this horrific experience with Popcorn Ceiling Removal Jax. Hired them to remove the popcorn ceiling in our home and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We have pictures and emails which support this review. Despite promising it would be a one-day job, it took a painful five day nightmare of repairs. All of which resulted in a ceiling that looks appalling. The ceiling looks like a checkerboard. It is uneven riddled with patches and looks nothing like the ?smooth knock-down? finish we were promised. When they finished their 3rd attempt at making the ceiling smooth, we asked what the next steps would be should this not achieve the goal. We were told they would return and sand, mud and repaint ? in other words repeat what they had just done. Would you give them a 4th try? They tore wallpaper in several laces -threaten legal action & a lien on our house if not paid .
