They are very great in what they do. Responsable and polite. Answered all my question before and during the instalacià ³n of the new roof. Great company. We sure recommend them bc you cannot not go wrong with them.

Great work ! Nathaniel, George and their crew/workers were Absolutely the Best. Their dedicated workmanship and cleanup was wonderful. My Sister who also used this company could not say enough good things about them ! I would recommend them to anyone.

George, Jon and crew were very helpful and I am very happy I selected Modern Renovations from other qualified installers. The crew worked on a windy day with 25mph gusts and 30 degree temps. I watched the entire process being on the roof several times and am impressed with their skills and the care they took with the entire job.

Modern Renovations was great to work with and did an excellent job on roof installation. Nathaniel was honest and professional. Thanks to Larry DeMarco for the best communication and responsiveness. Would highly recommend to anyone in area looking for there services. Thanks again!!

If I could give zero stars, I would! Modern Renovations, Martinsburg, WV, replaced my roof in 2019, and I was sold on their warranty of workmanship and product. My painters noticed a leak in my upstairs bathroom. I called Modern Renovations to come out and inspect the roof. I suspected it may be faulty boots and flashing around my vent pipes causing a leak. After many phone calls and no-shows for scheduled appointments, a roofer from MR finally came out, Franklin. He went into my attic and said that it was not the roof and that the leak was caused by another source. Franklin did not get onto my roof. I have had multiple contractors out trying to find the other source. I have spent thousands of dollars and countless hours trying to find the source of the leak. I hired a plumber to look at my pipes in the attic, had A.S.K. Heating and HVAC replace ductwork in my attic, had my attic re-insulated by Comfenergy, and still the leak surfaced. One of the technicians for the insulation noticed my vent pipe was allowing a lot of sun light in and said it was not normal. If light can get in, so can water. I contacted Modern Renovations once again, and they finally said they would replace the boots and flashing. I had an appointment scheduled. On the day of my appointment, I contacted and spoke to Franklin Cabrera, owner of MR, who said he was sending a tech out to replace the boots and flashing. I took time off work, and once again, no one showed up to make the repair. This back and forth with Modern Renovation in Martinsburg, WV, has been ongoing with no results. I contacted another roofing company, Roofing WV, who performed a roof inspection and was able to confirm my suspicion of the boots and flashing being the issue. provided a recommendation, and I have contracted them to repair Modern Renovations shoddy work. I have reported Modern Renovation to the BBB and will be considering my legal options for suing them. This company is unprofessional, and their work is questionable. I would steer clear of this company for any work!
