Work requested: leak in roof around exhaust pipe, new gutters and drain pipes and leaf guards. Initial timeline quoted 1 week for 2nd layer of shingles, 2 weeks for gutters. Cape cod style house - quote $5800 Pros: Their initial response was quick (Tom called back within 24 hrs of home advisor request, initial consult 6 days later. He applied temp sealant around the flashing to hold me over until shingles were applied due to all the rain we had been experiencing this spring. 2 people came out as scheduled 2 days later to install roof, no problem with work, cleaned up any debris. 1 person cam out 7 days later to install gutter (+ 1 person for a couple hours to assist) Again, no problem with quality of work, however there was miscommunication with gutter guards and they were only installed on front of house. Tom had told the subcontractor to only apply them to the front, which was incorrect they should have been applied to front and back. Cons: Company prefers to take cash/check, not credit. In this day an age I think that is an unreasonable request to expect someone to have that much cash readily available. No call ahead to confirm gutter installation, it was tentatively scheduled a week out from the shingles as they had to be ordered, but still should have received a confirmation of appt. since items had to be ordered and it wasn't a concrete date. Gutter guards not installed on back of house as requested. 6 weeks later and 3 follow up phone calls, they still are not installed. No warranty information provided at the time of order or service in writing only verbal. Had to request this in writing from the company separately. Price - seemed a little high and shame on me for not getting additional quotes but was battling a leaky roof, several rain storms in forecast and not able to get multiple days off work to get multiple estimates. Overall, would recommend for quality, but not for customer service.
Mastercraft Restorations was very responsive and timely. They took care of our roof repair in record time and it looks fantastic!
.
They told me that they would fix my roof in two weeks. Actually, I have to wait about 4 weeks and call them twice. I do not know their job quality , but from their responses , I doubted. The cost is higher than what I thought . Interestingly, they called me immediately to charge the fee without any delay. Even in your busy time, please do not ignore small projects or just simply do not promise that.
Very prompt, very personable & very helpful with good advice. A good contractor!
They told me I did not need a new roof just a 'tune up'. There were several problems with my roof. They did the work the same day and did an excellent job. The price they charged was very reasonable. I would call them again if I ever had another problem. I am completely satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone.
They know their business and appear to be reasonable. Also, they appear to be willing to go the extra mile to get things done properly.
Good people thought they might have been a little high in price but did a good job. Roof is fixed
