"I had an unexpected plumbing problem with my bathtub faucet freezing after our areaâ s recent severe weather and below zero temperatures. I had to completely turn off my whole house water main until I could find a plumber to fix it. But who would help me on Christmas Day? Amazingly I got a call from the owner, Mike, who accurately diagnosed my problem over the phone, and advised me on how I could deal with the issue until stores opened the next day. He also arranged for his knowledgeable, skilled and professional plumbers to completely replace and repair the old damaged fixtures and pipes. And he was able to advise me on how I might avoid similar problems in the future as well! I could not recommend United Plumbing more highly. 100 stars wouldnâ t be enough!"

"Dustin and his team came out to address a wiring disaster I discovered while trying replace a switch. The previous ownerâ  s electrician did a total hack job on the wiring and was running ground wires to neutral terminals, different circuits sharing neutralsâ ¦ the list goes on. "Initially hired Tim's firm to replace deck flooring, rails and stairs. His crew did a good job and we were satisfied. Tim & Amy inspected the work and found some issues that he wasn't satisfied with. He fixed the issues to his satisfaction, which exceeded our expectations, and did so voluntarily at no extra cost. Se were so pleased with Tim's professionalism that we had him do more projects. One crew came to repair drywall and prep several areas for painting. Another crew did the painting of 2 bedrooms, laundry room, basement ceiling, front door and garage. We were having flooring installed by another company at the same time. They found water and termite damage near our front door, and couldn't complete the flooring until it was repaired. I called Tim in a panic and explained the problem. He and Amy came the same day and worked until 9:30 pm to repair the problem so the installers could complete their work on schedule. Tim & Amy also did repairs to a crawl space. Tim & his crews are professional, thorough and efficient. Tim follows up and inspects every project to assure that we are completely satisfied. We have more projects scheduled based on the excellent work done so far. If I could award more than 5 stars, I would."

"Mr. Jim Gorman who is the owner of the business called me back within a half hour of my email posting. He visited my home 3 days later, inspected things, and told me what the approximate cost would be. He and his helper then installed an entire lightning protection system on both my house and a back garage/storage area. He did things exactly as I wanted in every way. Also threw in a free weathervane which increased the beauty of my home. I would have no objection to recommending this gentleman and his company to anyone who is in need of a competently installed lightning protection system for their home/property. MID-AMERICA LIGHTNING RODS is one fine company run by a man who cares about doing good work according to the latest safety codes etc. Having lost my previous retirement home to lightning, it was very important to me to get this job done and quickly because the thunderstorm season is upon us and with the climate change, those storms are very wicked, especially here out in the country where i live!"

- If you have questions about the project, ask them before they start. Most are happy to run you through the problem and the process of fixing it.
- Ask about potential issues after the work is complete. During a service call a professional will spot any potential hazards.
