M&E Construction & Renovation

We are very pleased with the overall project. Very easy to work with. No surprises.

We needed a wall installed with a double sliding door to enclose our family room to turn it into an office. Marc was able to determine exactly what we needed, helped plan for electrical layouts, insulation for sound proofing, and was able to accommodate a quick installation window and all if a price I thought was extremely fair. Once the plan was made, there was clear communication about timeline, and the attention to detail and care that was given was beyond expectations. If you are in need of home repair or construction work, I would highly recommend M&E construction and renovation.

Everything turned out the way I envisioned it Very nice job

M&E took down a non-load bearing wall between the dining room and the living room giving us an open space living. We are very happy with their work. The guys came every day until the work is complete. They also cleaned up at the end and haul all the construction debris away. Marc and his team did a great job giving us a new living space that we love and enjoy everyday. I do recommend M&E for your remodeling projects.

M&E Construction (general contractor and owner Marc) was horrible in every way from the very start. EVERY step of the project was screwed up by either Marc or his subcontractors. There is not enough room in this text box to describe the multitude of problems I had. The cost was exorbitant for what they did, the errors started from the very beginning with the ARCHITECT, deadlines were not met and extended way past the time I was told it would be done, to name just a few of the problems. I could go on and on and on. My next grievance is with Angi's List. Don't you vet these people? This guy is a con artist and a scammer/grifter. I would appreciate a call from someone in management (not just a customer service rep) to discuss the nightmare this project has been. The only reason I gave a 1-star rating is because I couldn't leave no stars or actually negative stars. I am HUGELY disappointed in Angi's List for doing business with this man.

I recently had a concrete driveways project done by M&E Construction..the process was smooth..I'm so happy with how everything turned out! Marc listened carefully to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions, and really took the time to understand my vision - Marc wasn't just trying to sell me something..he was genuinely interested in helping me achieve the best possible outcome. I am genuinely happy with the outcome of my concrete project. It has exceeded my expectations in every way!!

Marc and his team at M&E Construction and Renovation were incredibly professional and reliable. They completed two complete bathroom remodels (master and guest bathrooms in a single-family home in Chicago) in a timely and efficient manner. They were extremely communicative, friendly, and honest throughout the entire process, addressing all of our questions and concerns immediately. Overall very smooth experience and both bathrooms turned out fantastic! Would highly recommend Marc and his excellent team (Arsen, Andrew, etc.) and would gladly work with them again! Big thank you to Marc and team for a job very well done!

Marc was great as far as communication, responsiveness, and making suggestions. Mike, who was the one who worked on the renovations, did a great job on our cabinets, repairing numerous holes in our dry wall, painting, installing lights and appliances, and generally making sure we got what we wanted! Highly recommend!
