I chose to work in this industry because Garage doors have been a part of my life from the very beginning. My father, two uncles, two brothers, and seven cousins are all in the garage door industry, so I quite literally grew up around it. Being surrounded by the trade my entire life gave me a deep understanding of the work and a passion for helping homeowners with reliable, honest garage door service. Repair or Adjust a Garage Door Opener

Blaine was great! Showed up promptly. He didn't oversell me anything. Had all the parts readily available to either rebuild my 20 year old opener or replace with new. It wasn't that much more for new vs. the rebuild. I opted for new. He was very professional and fast. Done in about 90 minutes.

Arrived half an hour earlier than they said they would - which I appreciated - and complete the job in 40 minutes. I had to have the two torsion springs replaced. I would recommend them yes..

Install or Replace a Garage Door Opener

Originally called because garage door opener was 26 years old and dripping fluid on floor. Tech assessed situation upon arriving and stated that the opener wasn't an immediate problem. He did say that my springs were a problem and showed my why. Because of his honesty and professionalism, I had him replace the springs, rollers and opener (because of it's age). He did it in less than 2 hours and I would definitely recommend this company for any garage door problem.

Repair a Garage Door

After checking the problem, the man who did the service quoted me a price. When I said that I was expecting another service to assess the situation on the following day, he lowered his price. I decided to go with LGD and cancel the other service. He fixed it in about 45 minutes and it seems to be working fine.

The company called within 15 min of making the reservation on line. We actually settled on an earlier date which was better for us. They arrived on time & called 20 min before arriving. The rep gave me a price. I agreed, & he replaced the door springs. Very professional. Took him less than an hour to finish.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
