My old openers were 23 years old. Needed replacing. The LGDC replaced both and added a keypad outside for one. It has been 4 months since they were installed, and they have been back to the house 3 times. Once because the drive chain was hanging loose, once because a bolt had fallen out, and once because the keypad has started working only intermittently. I was told by all of the repair guys that after one month I have to pay for labor. Fortunately the first two were just too embarrassed to charge. The third guy insisted on charging me -- so I sent him packing. Still having trouble with the keypad, but will either install a new one myself or find a more reputable company that is willing to stand behind its work & products. Will not use these guys again.

We appreciate your feedback Steven. It is the not so good reviews that we can learn the most from. Unfortunately we do not Manufacturer garage door openers, we simply install them. We always give a 30 day labor warranty and always honor our warranty. We also offer a 365 day labor warranty which you didn?t want. We even offered it 4 months later when you were experiencing problems at the same price. We installed the units professionally but every so often some of the motors have defects which we cover under our warranty; however, we don?t cover labor past 30 days unless you chose to do the 365 day labor. That offer is still on the table if you

Called within three hours, came out that same day at a time that worked for me. Courteous and prepared, had the spring replaced and garage door operating in less that 30 minutes.
