Luis is a great contractor. When he tells you that his objective is to make you happy, he means it. I do a lot of DIY projects, but for larger scope work that i don't have time or expertise to handle, i hire it out, but i am pretty engaged in the process. I check out what's going on, i ask questions (both to learn, and to identify potential problems). Luis and his guys were a pleasure to deal with. They were always friendly in addressing my questions, and were happy to give me tips and pointers about things i wasn't familiar with. And when i wanted something done differently, or when i had a concern about something, there was never any grumbling, or passive aggressive tone. They were about doing the job *right* and making sure i was happy with it. I first hired him to completely remodel one bathroom, update another, and to replace a dropped ceiling with drywall in my basement. His pricing was good, and the work was great. Now, he has specialist for every trade - master plumber, master electrician, a tile guy, drywall specific guys, painters etc. The great thing about that is that they all do pretty darn good work and know their craft (i especially liked his tile guy, and his plumbers did a really clean job). The downside is they have to juggle schedules because the electrician needs to come in before the drywall guys, or the tile guy needs to do something before the carpenter comes. So sometimes you may need to make sure you are aware of their plan and not be surprised that they do something that you were envisioning being done differently. Since that first set of projects, I've hired him for 2 more jobs, and the work was great. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to others (which i have).

Luis Lugo is a very smart and capable contractor and has a slew of capable and professional resources like pro carpenters and drywall people. I will be using him for future work. I highly recommend him and the team he creates to accomplish repairs.

I have dealt with several contractors for different jobs and am very sorry I have never used LLugo. I had a problem with my sliding glass door. They explained how I could actually fix it myself if I didn't want to spend the money. I really appreciated the honesty. I decided to have them do it and watch so if the problem happens again I will feel confident to fix it. I will definitely call them for any future home issues.

I always get at least three estimates prior to any home project. LLugo was competitively priced. Luis' estimate stayed true to the actual cost, which I appreciate more than a vendor who estimates super low, but then increases the cost mid-project. The team was courteous and professional. They did a great job installing a new tub surround, fixing a leaking pipe, demolishing an existing shower, extending a wall, and refitting the plumbing/electrical to make a swanky new master bathroom shower! Another vendor told me that I would "have" to retile the entire bathroom, but Luis and his team were creative, technical geniuses who got the job done and all ahead of schedule. I HIGHLY recommend them! ....so much that I've already hired them for more projects at my house!

I called Luis to get some plumbing assistance with a bathroom remodel that I am doing myself. He was great and had two of his guys at my house first thing the next morning. They showed up on time, quoted me a fair price, did a great job in the time they estimated and they cleaned everything up. I would definitely use them again.

Luis came within 2 hours and repaired the water pipe that burst in our wall. He was knowledgable and also told us how to prevent this from happening again!

I was looking for the repair the cranks that opened a few windows, not their replacement. Every other company wanted only to sell me new windows. Luis Lugo looked at the cranking mechanism and showed me how they might be fixed, then worked to fix them. I was very satisfied with the results and his fair price. No question I would hire his again for work around the house.

We hired Luis Lugo ,at LLugo LLC, to do a complete gutting and remodel of a 1940's kitchen in Parkfairfax. This remodel had some very interesting issues. Luis was with us through all of it. He gave us many suggestions and advice that helped us stay within our budget but get everything we wanted in our new kitchen. We threw him some very interesting curves and he reacted with great advice and ideas to keep us again within our budget. His staff were great ,very professional and doing high quality work with leaving the area clean after each days work. We will be sure to hire him again if we ever decide to do any remodeling again. But for now we got everything we wanted and more in our new kitchen and love the way it all turned out.
