Timing is everything. Just got off the phone with Mr. Schede. I called to tell him how pleased I was with every aspect of my engagement with them from the promptness of their initial response to my request to the professionalism with which they treated me on the phone to the speed of their actually arrival at my house (within an hour of 1st contact) to the professionalism with with they diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Really well done. Will use them on a regular basis and strongly recommend them to others.

They did a good job, but as with any major job you have contracted in you home, you have to double check and make sure its done as requested. I found one mistake and it was quickly corrected. I would hire them again but ironically when I reached out twice for another project, i received no response. Wonder what that is about.

We had to wait over a weekend, because on Fri. they had an emergency and could not keep their appointment. It was an inconvenience, but I just felt that they should have let me know sooner. I had to call them. They did come first thing Mon. morning.

Our hot water heater went at 10 pm on a Friday night. Beside HomeAdvisor, I broke out the Yellow Pages and called a lot of listings. Through those the earliest anyone could come was Monday which meant no water use all weekend. At 7:30 Schede called and by 11:30 we had a new water heater. Very professional and nice. Will definitely use them for any plumbing needs in the future. Yes, paid more to have it installed on a Saturday but it was still less than having to get a hotel room for the weekend.

When your plumber starts asking for payment before they even start the work, you know there is a problem. This plumber has no idea what customer service is about. They kept us without heat for two weeks when the temp was nearing 40 degrees. We have a baby at home and had to use space heaters. They also do not return phone calls or respond to emails. The contract I have with them indicates that they need to remove the oil tank which has been sitting in my basement for two weeks and they have yet to remove. I've removed the tank myself and am also cancelling their contract. They will not be getting the rest of their money.
