Mina is a godsend. My house was built in 1920, has cracked plaster and sloping floors in spots and I was concerned about structural issues. Mina came on a Saturday and let us take him through the house inside and out, top to bottom. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and patient. He told us what needed some attention and what was essentially to be expected for a 100-year old house. He answered questions and explained what to look for that would be serious issues. Mina also offered to review any estimates for proposed work for our repairs. He is the best stress-reducer around. I highly recommend Mina.

Mina (the owner) was respectful (texted me over an hour before our appointment to say he may be 30 minutes late), incredibly kind, completely thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable and informative. I had a quote for structural foundation repair for $45K! He inspected everything in its entirety, explained what was happening and how to fix it and mitigate any future problems, saving me about $40K! He is amazing...a breath of fresh air to find someone who is not out to make money off of you, but just there to help you make informed decisions. I contacted three big-name companies to access a series of basement wall cracks. Two came and proposed differing actions. Neither solution, nor costs, appealed to me. I needed expert engineering guidance. Researched several candidates, and selected Mina Mikaeel. I informed him of relevant details about the house, and of my meeting with the basement people. He conducted a thorough assessment of the structure and the land grading. During that process, he advised me on the causes of the cracks and suggestions on how I can easily prevent more. He cited the pros and cons of Basement Repair companies, and then explained â with evidenceâ that my situation was not as serious as those folks led me to believe. Mr. Mikaeel then defined a corrective action plan: citing the necessary actions, the equipment needed, cuts to be made, the sequence, and specific materials for sealing. He also recommended qualified people, and offered to come back to assess their work. The work was completed. I have peace of mind (and a warranty on that work)!
