Paul Jose was quick, kind and friendly.

I hired Paul to evaluate water damage from a leak in my roof and to test for mold toxicity. Paul arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and talked with me about my concerns before starting testing. He was pleasant, courteous, thorough, and very knowledgeable. He even checked a few other places in my home that I was concerned about. I'm very happy with his work and highly recommend him.

Unethical and Unprofessional. On Dec. 6, 2018 the roof/attic space of the home my wife and I were in the process of purchasing was called out by our home inspector for moisture, soft sheathing, white mold and some other items. We decided to inspect further. Our realtor set up an appointment with Jose Technologies, which took place on Dec. 11, 2018. After about 10 minutes in the attic in question Mr. Jose came down and announced, "The attic and roof was fine!" His assessment was that all that needed to be done was to close off the gable vents with visqueen to fix the problem. When I asked him about wet spots around the bases of multiple nails and the soft spots in the sheathing (I took pics) he said it was from moisture brought in from the open gables. His report states the space is in "great" condition and that the sheathing moisture level was "excellent", even though there are plainly visible wet spots at the bases of multiple nails. I had a roofing company rep. out to inspect the next day (Dec. 12), his assessment was that the wet spots around the nail bases were indeed leaks from the outside of the roof through the sheathing and not moisture brought in (I'm happy to share my pictures and let people see for themselves). The roofer also pointed out other large molding, moisture areas that Mr. Jose didn't report to me. When I called Mr. Jose to discuss the report, he said that he had already (I don't who notified him or with what intent) left a message with the roofing company to contact him so they could discuss it. I told him that I was very disappointed with his assessment, that his report had not even addressed the wetness around the nail bases, and mostly that if we would have relied on his report we would be purchasing a home with a leaking roof. His response was that he understood my concern and that he would contact me after talking with the roofer. Today is Jan. 2, 2019 and I have not heard back from Mr. Jose in any form. We paid Mr. Jose $200 his professional assessment. I do not feel Mr. Jose had our best interests in mind. He only spent around 10 minutes to make an assessment that in my opinion was at the least, inaccurate and incomplete while not aligning with the assessment of other professionals or myself (again, I wish I could upload the pictures I took so everyone could judge for themselves). The fact that Mr. Jose wanted to confer with the roofer, in my opinion, undermines his professional credibility and the fact that he has not contacted me back shows complete lack of professionalism. I feel like Jose Technologies service was unethical and unprofessional.

Did not do the job advised me on how to repair it

He didnt do much but run a tester over the hole. But it was satisfactory and his price was fair.
