We are Jose Tech Inspection Services and have been doing both home and Business inspection for the last 8 years in the West Sound area of Washington. We do mold, Lead and have recently started a new service with looking for indoor Volatile Organic Compounds, gasoline, paint, and other indoor compounds that may be causing you breathing issues. We also use thermography as a help to find different issues in your home such as water you cannot see or an insulation problems that may be causing condensation. I chose to work in this industry because my wife was diagnosed with asthma and I realized how many people were suffering from poor indoor air quality..

I love working in Kitsap county and surrounding areas because We live in a great area of the country with the mountains and water close to where we live. Mild climate and great people..

Mr. Jose did an outstanding and timely job of testing the air quality in my car, and getting test results with a thorough synopsis of findings back to me in timely fashion. Our home has a offer on it. Had a home inspection done. The inspector called out mold in the attic as one small area had white powder on it. And the batts in the attic were covering the vents they needed to be pulled back and baffles added. We had one of the others on this recommendation page give estimate to address these two items. Their estimate was $3,014.85 we just about had a heart attack. We called Jose Technologies for a second opinion. Paul came in and assessed the attic space. Paul found the attic to be clean and dry. He did both a humidity and moisture test. Both reading were below the standard. He found our attic not to have a issue with mold. His fee was $250. And the insulation work $199. Big Savings! Always call Jose Technologies before granting someone to do the work.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
