This was a large home at least 6000 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and a very large basement, not including all the other rooms. This client asked for testing in just about all of the rooms in the home and these lab tests do add up in cost. However, after spending several hours on this project I gave this client a very generous discount. I am sorry that he thought it was too expensive, however, I would like to know what he was comparing my pricing to.

Ron responded quickly and came to perform services in a timely manner. He provided the air / mold test report in a timely manner as well. The information was partially helpful. The main issue was his poor customer service. Below is exactly what I shared with him. I was disappointed that he made assumptions about my husband and I, and these negative assumptions made him leave out pertinent information (which we found out, when two mold contractors called him out). I wasn't going to write a review, but I'm hoping that this will nudge Ron to give customers full information, all the time, no matter what and let them make their own decisions. Also, don't treat customers poorly because you give them a price that later on you wish you had charged more. "Professionally, your approach was poor. We are customers that are not familiar with the process for mold inspection and removal. You did not explain to us end to end what the process could look like and what the associated costs could be, so we can make an adult decision about our next steps. Instead of owning up to that, you get defensive and tell me what 'you people' normally do. Offensive and unnecessary. We are just trying to get rid of the mold in our home, so we can be safe. We never asked you to do anything without getting paid for it and if you didn't like the price you quoted, $295, that's your responsibility."

I was very honest and transparent with her, however, her small children were slightly loud and out of control while I was trying hard to do my job and to explain my findings and the process of mold remediation over the loud noise. I am sorry that she did not hear all the details while trying to discipline her children and bring them under control. As a father of four, I can understand, however, don't blame me if you weren't able to control your children and pay full attention to all of the details I gave. I happily took the time to go over the process with her again over the phone in the following days. Thankfully I was able to get paid for my work when the check finally cleared. I am an honest business man and my great reviews speak for themselves. Obviously, not everyone will feel the same. Some people just want to take advantage of others. Please don't let this obviously isolated incident discourage you from being a happy client of ours. Thank you, Ron LoCascio

Ron was online,there before I arrived and was already taking pictures and starting the job. He was thorough and advised me based on his inspection not to purchase the house as many things were not up to code. His blatant honesty about the home and his findings was very much appreciated and his reports were detailed and thorough. Best of all,his price is one of the lowest I have seen!
