Write a ReviewAfter years of trying to fix the sulfur smell & iron issues with our well water we called Mike at Hague. He came over the next day, did some tests, then suggested a plan. Very straightforward & knowledgeable. He made time to answer all of our questions. Within a week we had a whole new system in place that is amazing! Everything about the water is better than we dreamed was possible. Friendly, personable service from a local business - it was a pleasure working with Hague Water Systems. We would absolutely recommend!!
Each time I have contacted Mike he promptly addresses any issues and answers any questions I have. It doesn't matter when I call, Hague is available to help. Mike's kind, caring, thoughtful manner makes him seem more like a friend than a business man. Hague Water Systems is definitely the BEST in service, price and reliability. I have (and will continue to) referred many of my family and friends to Hague.
After one phone call Mike was here to inspect our old water softener We hired him right away to do the job he does excellent neat work We are very please would certainly recommend him to anyone.
One of the best service I had, right on time, very professional work. I was pleased with his knowledge and installation work. I can recommend Mike Revette to anybody. Max Hunziker Rhinebeck N.Y.
Mike is the best. He is prompt and efficient - figures out what is working and what can be repaired. We asked him to look at filtration system and water softener. He looked at the whole system found a couple issues with the way the system was plumbed - which he repaired for free while he was doing the work. He talked us out of spending more money on a system that he thought we didn't need (as weekenders). I would recommend mike without reservation and use him again.
I had Mike Rivette install the Hague Water Softener and was pleased with the quality of the product, his knowledge, and installation. I initially look at water softeners in a large chain store known for their appliances and tools. The Hague unit was a far better quality than their best one. Granted, however, that it cost more. I believe you get what you pay for. Further, would you rather buy your unit from a well meaning, hard working salesperson who must know a multitude of appliances as well as water softeners, or a professional who specializes in and whose sole business is water purification systems? Mike is friendly and will answer any question you may have. I have ordered a reverse osmosis system from Mike also and expect to have him install it next week.
I have had one of Mike Rivette's Hague water softeners and a reverse-osmosis filter for close to a year. I am totally satisfied. I was with Culligan for eight years, starting from when I bought the house and inherited one of their softeners. I also bought a reverse-osmosis filter from them. I went on their monthly plan and eventually found I was paying a lot of money for relatively little service without building equity for the expense, although the personnel who came to the house were all pleasant and professional. Mike was recommended by a manager at the local True Value Hardware. When I called Mike, he both asked and answered questions thoroughly. My follow-up call, perhaps a month later, convinced me to use his services. The softener settings required adjustment during the break-in period. Phone consultations were quick and expert. He made one personal visit at the time, at no charge, since he was tweaking a new system. He came to my house recently because the water had grown unexpectedly hard. He conducted routine water tests on samples I had collected over a period of days, checked the flow rate through the filter while one and then two taps were opened, and looked at basement pipes. Before long, he determined that a plumber who had recently repaired an outside faucet left a valve open. Untreated water was flowing back into lines that carried treated water. This inadvertent error was the problem and had nothing to do with the softener he so ld me nor with a transient cherson of integrity who stands by his product and is not out to make every last penny out of every transactange in the mineral content from our well. The water problem is now resolved. In my opinion, Mike is a pion. He is clearly more interested in creating a network of relationships. Through his commitment to his customers, he has certainly created a relationship with me. I do not customarily write reviews, whether at Amazon or elsewhere. In this particular instance, I've made an exception because I believe Mike is unusual in the way he does business, unusually excellent. I recommend Mike Rivette and Hague Water Systems of Hyde Park without any reservation.
