We really enjoyed our experience with HL Design. Dave put time and effort into his initial proposal. His proposal was very detailed with additional recommendations to enhance the overall look of our hardscaping. This far exceeded any proposal we received. The price was very reasonable and he even through in some additional azaleas. They started right away once we decided on the pavers and the project was completed in three full days. Project was well done and they cleaned up the site afterwards, replanted grass, and we were very pleased with the entire project.

Dave of HL Design was very professional and a true EXPERT in his field. His quote was the best in terms of cost out of 7 quotes that I received. He quoted and used Nicolock oceanic blue PREMIUM pavers, cobble stone edges, full-nose raven coping, 2-8ft sitting stone wall with 4 LED lights and a transformer. He installed a River Stones in the existing planting bed. The quality of work was great and the patio turned out beautifully! His workers cleaned after themselves each time. I absolutely love my patio and the flower bed. Dave and his crew did a GREAT job. I highly recommend them!!!

When I called HL Design, I spoke with Catherine. We set an appointment for the next day. Dave, the owner, came out and I showed him exactly what I wanted. He recommended Nicolock Pavers for the patio I wanted. Before he left, I had a detailed proposal that was not only fair, but included everything that would be done. I hired him on the spot. NO BS! Straightforward and honest. Dave and his awesome crew came out 8 days later and completed our patio in one day. Let me tell you, Dave's crew took an ugly space under our deck in the back of our townhouse, that wouldn't grow grass, and transformed it into a thing of beauty. Over the past year and a half, we have had quite a few major projects done in our house. This one, by far, was the most pleasurable one. I cannot say enough about HL Design, Dave Howe and his amazing crew. If I could give ten stars, I would.

Dave and the crew at HLD were a pleasure to work with. The quality of the work was first class and exceeded our expectations. The crew was organized and professional. The finished product, a 90 ft. Interlocking paver walkway is beautiful and has caught the eye of several neighbors. Choosing HLD was the best decision we could have made. Thank you Dave and the HLD team.

HL Design was an awesome contractor to work with. They were the first to come out and give us an estimate, they gave us the best price, they explained about the materials to be used and answered all our questions. Before the work began, we had to change some of the original design and they did that. They were here and on time and completed the job on time. The work crew were fantastic and did a super job. Also on the plus side they are a local small business. We highly recommend HL Design!
