I'm very satisfied with the work that has been done! I needed a complex repair job for three chimneys, on the house that I just purchased. That included including cleaning, installation of a liner with connection of furnace and water heater, three new stainless steel caps, repair of several loose bricks on the main fireplace. Vinnie came in time for the estimate, provided me with some good options and we agreed on a good price. His team showed up on time and completed the work in a clean and efficient way. I would definitely recommend First Rate 1 Construction to anyone who needs an honest and skilled professional.

Since it's a chimney, how would I actually know whether the job was done properly? I can only assume it was. The man showed up when he said he would. He properly estimated the amount of time it would take. He was courteous. He gave me information during the process concerning the condition of the fireplace and the chimney. I plan to have him return next year for this job.

First Rate did a chimney liner for me as well as repair the stack. When you talk to Vinnie you are in good hands. He pulled the permits, was incredibly patient, communicative, and walked me through every part of the process.They were quick clean and efficient. I went up to look at the stack and it was beautiful, they did a wonderful job. A lot of times you feel nervous about getting work done, but I've never felt so comfortable with a contractor. I highly recommend.

Great service. Discussed all options for replacing 100 year old roof without pressuring me to choose one option over the other. Repaired another section that had been badly leaking. It was fixed correctly the first time. Very easy to work with. Will definitely use this company for future projects.

When I called and had the chimney inspected, I was informed that I had needed a liner put in. The work was done very quickly. After completion of the job I have not gotten a copy of the signed contract. My printer at home was not working so we could not get it that day. I have been requesting a copy all of this week. Also, he waited until after the job was done to tell me I needed more work done.

50 year old chimney needed to be extended, a liner installed and gas furnace and water heater vent hook up. Work was completed neatly and quickly.

well organized to do the work quickly-clean work area-just waiting for the inspector-did not say that much more work on three chimneys was needed as did the other contractor-lined furnace chimney and minor repair's to the two wood-burning fireplace chimneys
