A TOTAL NIGHTMARE. He did not pull a permit, workers didn?t show up for weeks, work was supposed to be done before Christmas of 2024! It is September and he is trying to cover up poor workmanship with ridiculous Jerry rigging. It?s supposed to be decking with no visible screws and that is not the case. The boards all started curling up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL. 24k and our deck looks like it was done by a toddler. If he makes it right, I?ll change my review. Buyer beware!

HALBROOK MASONRY did an awesome job. They started promptly soon after we accepted their bid. They had quoted 3 weeks to rip out our old rotting deck and railroad tie retaining wall. (Which we thought was a little ambitious for what had to be done). They finished everything in 2 weeks. Along the way as we made requests dan was very accommodating. We love our new outdoor space and would recommend Dans cut stone walls over any of the large awkward boulder natural retaining walls that all the other contractors tried to push on us. Hardworking crew that gets it done.

He and his team were wonderful. I will hire him again when I need additional work done. The quality of the work is outstanding. Everyone has commented on how nice everything is.

Performed the work at a price below the other contractor's bid. Arrived on schedule. Finished on schedule. Work appears to be high quality. Cleaned the site well before leaving. The finish Daniel put on the walls looks really good, above my expectation. Daniel seems like an honest man.

This is the 2nd project that Dan and his crew did for us. The first was a beautiful deck. This was a demo of the stone around our existing gas fireplace with new stone work around the new fireplace. He also installed a massive live edge beetle kill pine mantle. The result was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. Dan is very conscientious and reliable. The cost was also very reasonable. We are very happy with the outcome.
