I have hired lawn assasins for many years. They show up off-schedule, unannounced and race through the yard enroute to the next mow-mission . I consulted HomeAdvisor and found a REAL lawn are pro. Hermes Amaya received high customer ratings from Houston ,Katy,and the Sugarland areas. He arrived on time the first day and made observations and suggestions for future projects.Its been a month and neighbors are requesting his services.

Hermes was polite and respectful, but not trusts worthy.I gave him a big project in my house and I regret it for below reasons: 1) He did not finish the job and made 6 appointments, but never showed up 2) Cut small trees, but did not remove roots and cover everything with mulch 3) Did not put tarp and cover the ground with mulch. 4) I have to remove the dirt he put for vegetables since nothing was growing. 5) Very irresponsible and never returns the call, TXT or emails. 6) Should never pay him until 100% of the job is finished. 7) Do not have the right address on website.

Hermes was very personable and listened to what I wanted done. He accompanied me to the landscape supply company and gave me the pros and cons for the plants that I had in mind and made suggestions based on what I told him was my desired result. There was no problems getting him to answer the phone as with other contractors I contacted and he provided superb work for the money. I will definitely use him for future projects and recommend him to anyone I know that has a landscaping project.

Universal Scapes is the only company that I will use for my lawn and garden projects. Hermes Amaya provided me a written quotation detailing his activities associated with the removal of my existing front yard sod removal and installation of the new sod. He was prompt and professional. The crew did a wonderful job to include cleaning the street in front of my house after the job was complete. I felt that the amount paid was fair based upon the work which was done. Would I hire this company again? ABSOLUTELY!

Hermes is a man of his word! He is very polite, professional, on time, communicates on a timely manner, and sincere about wanting to provide a great service! He will be assisting me with other lawn-related needs and ensures that the grass is well maintained. Also, his pricing is reasonable. Over the past six months, I have gone through four lawn companies. They start off great -- especially if they know I am here -- after that, they cut corners and perform poorly. I highly recommend Hermes!!!!

He threw in some extras that he felt would add beauty to my lawn! I, like the other reviewer, have also hired them to perform my lawn maintenance. He has great ideas, and is very polite. Highly recommended!!! Your only regret is that you didn't call him sooner!
