Troy Litchfield and his partner arrived right on time to install our ceiling fans.They were very professional yet friendly and had great communication skills. This team knew what they were doing and gave us advice as needed. They did an outstanding job. They cleaned up after themselves and removed leftover packaging from our ceiling fan boxes. I would HIGHLY recommend Energy Today and especially Troy and his partner to anyone who is interested in having ceiling fans installed. We intend to use Energy Today for all of our future electrical work here in Punta Gorda.

When we called to schedule the appointment, we were told that if we did not schedule the following day we would get a free estimate; so we agreed to wait the extra day. When the technician arrived the ‘free estimate’ ranged from a level 1 $79 to level 2 $234. As we were inconvenienced with our electric issue we decided to not delay our repair and ‘trusted’ that this was probably needed. The technician was there for several hours. When finished, he thoroughly described all the things he found wrong with our wiring in ‘electrician versus layman terms’ (not related to our initial issue) as being ‘preventative care’. After asking “what was wrong” several times we were finally told that a ‘loose wire’ was our issue. We paid $234 for the repair. We did not have a comfortable feeling that we did not pay the extra amount for the ‘preventative care’ analysis and not for the repair we requested. We would not use this company again or recommend them to anyone. This was our first use of Home Advisor, not sure if we would even take that route again as we depended on the reviews we saw on the site.

I think the name of the company was COOL TODAY. The job is not done yet. He added a remote eye to 2 fane that are working very well. He explained to me about some questions I asked. He was efficient, courteous and could explain to me in laymen's language everything he was doing. He still has to to put In a ceiling exhaust fan.
