Write a ReviewResponsive whenever I had questions and once I decided to sign their quote, the project was started in one week and was completed in one day. Other contractors wanted 2-3 weeks before they could perform the project. It’s been over a month since the project was completed and the driveway expansion looks fantastic.
These guys were very professional and did a great job. DJ came out when he said he would for the estimate and got it back to us quickly and they scheduled the job right away. They got it done and it looks great. We were definitely happy with using their services.
I feel compelled to alter my review. Although the end product was not the prestine driveway I had hoped for, it was the best of the 3 driveways. Although my frustrations with my new build home have been exhausting, challenging and emotionally draining. In the end the pot boiled over and I took my frustrations out on DJ and Jacob. The home contractor poured the original driveway in temperatures in excess of 101 degrees, with in 12 hours the driveway was completely cracked and shattered. After 1.5 years the builder finally agreed to replace all the damaged driveways, sidewalks in the community. The builder then hired a contractor to redo the damaged concrete work. Unfortunately my driveway instead of being poured in one single pour was poured in three separate pours with lapse of pours between 45 minutes to 1 hour. They then sprayed water on the three different pours and attempted to blend them all together. Upon drying the driveway had Crazing the entire length of the driveway, major cosmetic issues where the pours were blended in addition to cold joints. The unsightlyness of the driveway in addition to numerous negative comments of neighbors encouraged me to once again redo the driveway this time at my expense. To-date I have spent over 40k repairing major issues with my home. Although almost every home in our community has had to deal with issues such as mine and some with issues far beyond my own, it did not.make dealing with those issues and costs any easier. DJ and Jacob did what they could to produce a quality product. My anxiety level was on high alert with this particular project. After the driveway dried to a white color and 2 months later when the gray dots appeared, all I could think of was here we go again. Knowing my anxiety level, a little more communication to try and explain what was causing these dots to occur and what if any thing could have been done if they continued, most likely would have prevented my response. For that I am truly sorry. Knowing that nothing in.life is perfect...i.was just hoping that for once something would go right and I could put it to rest. Once again Although the driveway did not meet my prestine expectations, in all fairness it was the best of the 3. Unfortunately in life you can not take back what you say. I do feel that I was unfair to DJ and Jacob and all that they do to assist their customers.
I had high expectations with this company because of the high reviews. Unfortunately I was beyond disappointed in the final product, customer service and care. My initial interactions with DJ (Sales Rep) and Jacob (Owner) in January 2024 were positive. I explained what the issues were with the current driveway and my expectations with the new driveway. I informed them that the current driveway was 3000psi, wire mesh and rebar. ( The original driveway which did not contain wire mesh had to be Jackhammer to remove) The contract for the replacement driveway was to include 4000psi concrete, wire mesh, rebar and sealing. I was informed that they would definitely meet my expectations and that the ultimate goal was , they wanted me to be happy with the driveway. On March 11th of 2024 demo began on the existing driveway, it was quickly determined that their method of removal was not working ( saw cut sections and remove with a Skid Steer) A Jackhammer had to be rented in order to break up the concrete for removal. On March 12th prior to pouring the new driveway, Jacob (owner) informed me that the wire mesh was the cause of the issues with the driveway that they removed. He strongly suggested that wire mesh not be used in the new driveway as he could not warranty the driveway if the same issues once again occurred due to the wire mesh. He additionally stated that the 4000psi would be more than sufficient and the wire mesh was not necessary. At this time the decision not to use the wire mesh was based on Jacob's recommendation. I also asked DJ for some information on the sealing product they planned on using. After contacting the manufacturer of the sealing product, I was advised to use an upgraded product in their line for better results. I informed DJ not to seal the driveway at this time. On March 13th DJ came to collect the final payment. I asked what the adjusted balance was due to the fact that the wire mesh and sealer were not used. I was informed that due to them having to rent the Jackhammer at a cost of $800, I was to pay the full amount. On May 12th 2024, I informed DJ that gray dots about the size of a penny were appearing on the sidewalk and driveway. ( note the driveway was white prior to that date) He asked that I send pictures and he would discuss with the owner. DJ believed that it was still the curing process. ( Please note the driveway had already exceeded the recommended curing time of 4 weeks / two months curing at time of call) I contacted DJ numerous times and he always stated he either had not spoke to Jacob or something came up. He finally came out to personally inspect yhe driveway as per Jacob's recommendation and took photos. He additionally asked me to send any additional photos and information to him and he would discuss this issue with Jacob and get back to me by the end of the week. A week later and no response. Finally DJ texted that he was meeting with Jacob and that Jacob would contact me. After that no more communication from either DJ or Jacob despite numerous text messages, emails and voice-mail. If you choose to use this company, pray that you have no issues as once they have your money, you will not hear from them. They definitely do not stand behind their work. Buyer beware.
We appreciate the feedback, however we have been in constant contact with this customer from the first time we met him. This is the third time he has had the driveway replaced and we were the third company he contracted to do so. Upon seeing the driveway during our estimate we made a point to tell him that nothing was wrong with the concrete and we believed he didn't need to spend more money to replace it. However, he felt he had been wronged and we wanted to help. We gave him a very generous offer to replace the driveway as he had had a tough time with the previous contractors. Before conducting the demolition of his driveway we always inform customers that our quotes are based on what we know and what we can see of the previous work. We let the customers know up front that thicker concrete or the use of metal can change the quote based on how we must dispose of the material and then re grade the sub base for standard pour depths. Upon finding rebar and thicker concrete we had to rent a jackhammer which cost $850 for the day. WE DID NOT charge him extra for this which we normally would do because we wanted to help him out. However, when the customer decided not to use certain materials instead of giving him refund we used it as a normalizing for the jack hammer rental. We still lost money in that trade but again felt it right to take care of the customer. Upon completion he was happy. He had some concerns about the difference in color with the concrete and we told him this was normal as concrete will change color during its curing and told him to give it a few months to normalize. The concrete normalized and yet he still complained about some differences in color after the concrete would get wet. These would go away as soon as the concrete dried. The integrity of the concrete is perfect and the driveway does not have defects or ascetic issues out of the normal concrete curing. We have stayed in contact and even said we would come out to see it again in person. The concrete is in perfect condition and he unfortunately cannot be pleased. We stand behind our work and if something was truly wrong or deficient we would make it right. He got a great deal on this concrete and we have been more than communicative during this entire process. He has not been wronged and has been more than compensated. Had I run this as a normal job he would have owed me $1000 more than what he actually paid. CONTRACTORS BEWARE: this customer is not looking for good work but a way to take advantage of honest contractors who care for their customers.
Very professional, kind, and diligent to ensure you are getting what you desire. Super friendly and quick to get the job done. I didn't have to wait weeks. DJ came out and within a week, job complete and looks amazing! High recommended!! Love the extended patio.
We used this company to install stamped sidewalks and a driveway. The installers were excellent and efficient. Our sales contact DJ has great customer service. I would highly recommend this company if looking for a driveway.
We had our asphalt driveway replaced with concrete and are over joyed with the results. Everyone was courteous and professional, from DJ who walked us through the process and cost to Jacob who came by to make sure we were happy with the work. And the whole work crew took extra care to make sure things were fixed right. A special thanks to DJ who not only help with the price but was also on site during the entire process and even pick up packages and mail to the house. Definitely will be using them in future.
Concrete Service Pro did an absolutely amazing job on our driveway extension and patio! Our stamped concrete patio is stunning and we are so excited to get more use out of our outdoor space now. The team was efficient and professional and delivered exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend them!
Concrete Service Pro did a great job adding onto my driveway. They were able to start my job earlier than expected. Several of my neighbors want to hire them for their projects.
DJ and his crew were so professional. Careful of our property and vehicles. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
