Great job, quick service and fabulous clean up. I only wish they would have told me in advance that they couldn?t cut it lower because of fence-having know I would have removed that part of the fence in advance.

Service quality, price, and efficiency was 12 out of 10 stars. Between the time I called, received a qoute and had the work done was less then 2 weeks. Once here they took down two trees (one small, one large) and trimmed a large tree in less then Three hours. They took my fence down and put it back up peperfectly. Also cleaned ALL debris up. I was so surprised to see them out back raking the yard.

Rude, did not grind up all stumps.

I give this company an A+. They were able to remove a huge maple tree that was surrounded by power lines. Their teamwork and problem solving skills were impressive. This company worked in a timely fashion, aware of weather conditions, were efficient, and mindful of our neighbors. They cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend them.

I called for an estimate owner came out looked at what we needed gave us an estimate. I hired them to remove a tree stump, and a bush stump, they came to cut the bush down in approximately 5 minutes said they would be back to grind the stumps. Came back said they cannot get the machine back there so they cannot do it. I said I want to talk to the owner because I was paying to have stumps removed. I could have cut the bush with my own saws-all. They offered to knock off $50 I said I am not paying $300 for 5 minutes of work when what I hired them for was stumps removal, and now I will have to hire another company that can actually do the job. The worker that was here went to his truck to call the owner, he sat outside for 15 minutes the peeled out of the spot without a word. I spent the day calling the office looking to speak with him. Hours later I finally get to talk to him. He said he does not have the smaller machine. I asked why they did not measure during the estimate. He said they did (clearly incorrectly if at all) I said well why am I going to pay for stump removal that did not happen? He said no-no. He told me I would have to look for someone that had the smaller machine. At this point, I think It is over. Right before he hangs up he said I will come out and look. He shows up says no we cannot do this and then starts asking for money. Did I say $300 for the bush? Does that mean you charge $50 for multiple stumps removals? He said no. I said I am sorry, but I was not going to pay that unfair price when they did not do the work he said ok. As he was walking back to his truck he muttered hope you like what I dump here. I said excuse me. Once he got closer to his car he said it louder. So he threatened me to top it all off.

We needed 2 large trees (over 60 feet each) to be cut down, one in the back yard and one very close to our house. Mr Bernes the owner came to our house in Merrick , assessed the work to be done and gave us a very competitive estimate. I cannot adequately describe the amazing job that Bernes and his team did. They were professional, mindful of the neighbors and very efficient. They did what they said they would do (cut down both trees, ground the stumps and removed the debris). This was not an easy job because one of the trees was close to power lines and very near the house but it was done in a very safe manner with no issues. I recommend Bernes Tree Service Inc. very highly.
