I had multiple bids to remove two large trees and a large stem off another tree. Their bid was not the lowest but when I spoke with them they wanted an opportunity to meet my other bid. They did that and they were able to get the work done in the next few days. The crew was great to work with and were willing to make a few changes on the fly. I have more tress that need to come down at a later date and I will definitly be calling them again.

While I had to remind them I needed help, they worked so quickly and cleaned everything so well, I was very pleased with their work.

I had a really bad experience with this Bear Creek Tree Service business. When I met Ray, the business owner, for an estimate, asking that cedar trees in our back yard be cut down to the house's gutter's level and away from the gutter. I was quoted for $1,700. I asked for a written contract to sign, he said there was no paperwork. He only wrote down $1,700 on his own business card with no terms of agreement . As the crew came out working exactly the way I expected, Ray showed up and asked the crew to stop because he misquoted me and asked that they leave the job unfinished. He somehow felt that I ripped him off because he said it would cost another $1,500 to finish the job. I ended up paying another $300 to finish the tree they were working on, but still not the way I wanted, AND TWO trees left uncut. I don't see how I could rip him off when I had another quote to do the job for $2,000. I should've insisted he give me a written contract to avoid being ripped off.
