Great value and good work.

It was a bit of an odd business transaction, because I never hired this company. I put out an "ad" via HomeAdvisor. They called me to tell me they had an opening, but I had been out of town and never returned their call. They then decided to show up at my house, and intimated to my husband who was at home with the kids that I contacted them and wanted work with them (not entirely true as I was still gleaning other options). So he scheduled the visit for that Friday morning assuming I had already talked with this company. All in all, I would probably have chosen them anyway based on reviews, but it was an interesting way to go about the business I think. My Dad say it's "old school" style. Go to the customer and work with them one:one & more personally. :)

I did not let them do the work because they gave me a bid of $350 but then when they showed up to do the work Ray, the person who gave the original bid, said they would only do the job if I paid $450 instead of the originally quoted $350. I sent them packing. Not an honest or trustworthy group to deal with, there word is not their bond.

We are very happy with this company and thought Ray was delightful to work with.

We were able to ask for a "hanger" to be removed and several dead branches on larger trees to be cut for no additional charge. They also left us a beautiful pile of chips, as we requested, and firewood cut to size.

I had planned on going with another company but after getting a quote on the work I wanted they never called me back, after I left several messages. Ray got my name from home adviser and called to make sure I got my work done, I said no because this other company wouldn't call me back. He came the next day and looked at my trees and told me one of my trees was dead and needed to come out and I didn't even know! The other tree guy had looked at that same tree and didn't say anything about it. Ray came back the next day with his men and they did the work, they were so fast and really knowledgeable. Great service.

Totally professional and on time. Total clean up afterward- it was A-1.
