Just started the service don’t know how good they are yet

I am a 25-year pool owner and during the Texas freeze my pump broke. I was sold a very expensive pump for around $1,800.00 and I knew right away it was bad. There were bubbles in the receptacle filter tank right before the pump and I knew that was not right. They gave me every excuse in the book but would not replace it. It took two weeks of arguing and nothing happened. It was not until I registered it with the company that made it anything happened. The Hayward company (manufacturer of the pump) came out and replaced the pump right away. I suspect I was sold a bum pump that had already been registered and resold to me. That is despicable.
