Reviews
Write a ReviewAfter calling this contractor, he agreed to meet me at address on Conesus Lake where work needed to be done. He was on time and answered all my questions on two jobs (installing Patio and repairing /replacing sidewalk on two locations on property.) I found his pricing to be reasonable, and He and his crew always showed up on time when they said they would. I would not hesitate to reccomend this company to friends and family.
This guy is a liar; do not trust him! My patio is cracking in multiple spots, and I have one portion completely sinking due to him and his crew pouring concrete directly onto grass instead of spending a little more time to get a proper base added as he promised when he quoted us. In addition, Mark and his crew destroyed my driveway with the concrete truck in the process of pouring my patio. When we provided him with the cost of repairing the damaged driveway, he stated that our driveway must not have been in great shape to begin with as it should have been able to withstand his concrete truck, and he refused to pay the full repair cost. Stay away from this guy and his business!
On time service and good value
On time, professional, efficient at cleaning my motherâ s wood stove and chimney
The employees were very nice, as in the ones doing the labor. The owner on the other hand was rude and miserable. Pretty sure he was telling stories on the price to fix my issue. Based on other quotes, he was off by about 5k.
This was by far the worst experience we as home owners have ever experienced. We contracted this company to put some concrete around our yard to replace some existing gardens, and add to replace some pavers being used. The first problem among many was the lack of communication on a starting time to start. We were very discouraged from the get go to even get the project started. We picked out a sort of coffee color cement which would look good with our house color. The cement when dried was almost pinkish in color, and looked horrible . This was just still the beginning of our problems. After too many to remember unanswered phone calls , we wanted AAA to change the color with a much different top coat ... pewter to be exact. We again had multiple promises broken or no communication from Mark. This was beyond annoying. We felt like we meant absolutely nothing to Mark. When they finally agreed to do the new pewter, his workers arrived unprepared with certain equipment and it was postponed. Again the lack of professionalism was appalling. When the recoat was finally started, the work was extremely sloppy. They got the pewter all over the house, our deck, flowers, as well as garden hose. It was a mess, and done so sloppy there were thousands of bumps from the product not drying properly. It was disgusting. We then had to start our unpleasant phone and text messaging fiasco with Mark the owner . My wife has all the texts and pictures documented. We have NEVER had this bad of an experience.! As I am writing this, quite a few spots of the new pewter color is coming off already. We have had many friends and guest comment on how bad of a job it was. We are still left with a pitted, peeling mass of junk work!!! My rating would be MINUS if it were available!! Terrible terrible company. I am shocked to see some positive reviews. There is much more that could be written, but I believe this gets our point across.
My GC hired them to extend our basement. Took them 2 months of an about 3-4 week project. Despite Mark's multiple promises to take good care of me, they cut every corner possible: 1. They did not place rebars where required. 2. They were adding automotive antifreeze to the mortar(until I caught them doing it). 3. They failed to cover freshly built walls with blankets in freezing weather, 4. They used incorrect water proofing material that did not dry for weeks. 5. They missed right angles between walls (20 ft wall was 4 inches off target). 6. They spread the soil over my back yard(to save on trucking costs), 7. They did not brace the walls while backfilling, Walls cracked. One wall fell down completely. After that, Mark said that he had to be paid more to continue working. We never saw him since.
