I recently hired 1st Choice Home Improvement to remove my water damaged floor in my laundry room and install a new tile floor. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The owner was very professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He responded quickly to my texts and emails and kept me informed throughout the whole process. The workmanship is excellent — the tile looks beautiful and was installed with great attention to detail. I also felt the price was very reasonable. I would absolutely hire them again and highly recommend 1st Choice Home Improvement to anyone needing flooring or home improvement work. Great experience from start to finish!

This contractor is very can-do with anything that needs doing. He took on a huge job (a fire rebuild) and finished it in record time. Very conscientious and ethical. Particularly fine work in tiling and flooring but he did almost everything for us and hired competent subcontractors when needed. Very proud to recommend this company and will work with him again.

Top notch craftsmanship, we where looking for someone to do wood chevron patter with a border out of wide plank wood flooring it was impossible to find anyone skilled enough for our job, but they came through it looks perfect, they also did our tile work which was awesome too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to any one.

Roman does beautiful work!!! We are so so happy with our new flooring and tile, we wanted complicated herringbone floor with a border and it came out exactly how I wanted it to :)

Charged the me to replace the floor in my bathroom. Broke the toilet drain, installed half the floor and refused to finish the job. Do not pay the guy anything up front.

We hired Roman to renovate our bathroom din March of 2018 . The cost was in excess of 10 thousand dollars and all seemed to be done well and fine ..that was then .. Here we are in 2024 and we come to find out the incorrect wax seal was used and the toilet has leaked under the tile floor causing mass damage to the flooring and joists and we are now facing another reno and repair in the master bath thats going to cost us thousands of dollars ...the caulking in the shower also failed also causing costly damage ...

Roman and his son did a wonderful job remodeling my bathroom. I will definitely use him again for future projects!

I highly recommend Roman and 1st Choice Home Improvement. We met him in the middle of a nightmare situation with a general contractor who did everything wrong (caused 2 plumbing leaks, poured shower pan with no membrane underneath, wrong thickness for shower walls etc etc) Once Roman and his son came in everything turned around for us and started going in the right direction. They came in and removed all the incorrect work quickly and efficiently. They worked diligently and for long hours to get our bathroom remodeling projects done correctly and beautifully. Roman is an artist with tile. And they were an absolute pleasure to have working on our home. You can tell a lot about a person by meeting their children, and Romans son is a quality human being. Hard-working, respectful, diligent, just awesome. I'm so thankful to both of them for our beautiful bathrooms!
