"We are very happy with how Serge was able to go through our list of home maintenance projects, and complete them all in less than 2 days. He repaired cracked plaster on walls, and repainted them; installed cabinet handles; fixed a short in a light switch; fixed a toilet; and re-grouted the tile in a shower. He was dependable, arriving on schedule, and easy to contact and communicate with. When we needed him to come back to retouch a small chip in the grout, he set up an appointment and prompting took care of it. He also provided an itemized list of costs soon after he visited our home to see what was needed to be done. We will be hiring him for future projects and highly recommend him to others."

"We are so happy with how our major remodel turned out with Homeimprove Construction. Complete kitchen overhaul including converting from electric to gas range top and remodel of 3 1/2 baths and flooring throughout the house. This is about 2200 sqft. Francisco kept the project moving from beginning to end and used the most skilled carpenters. Thank you Francisco and crew."

"Bryce was very impressive from the get go. I needed to do some insulation and bracketed on some piping in my homes crawl space. When he first came to give me an inspection he just jumped right under the house to give me a good estimate. Had it written up and ready to work the next day! 6 Stars!"

There were many challenges along the way that were delt with in an expert manner to successfully complete the project outlined in the scope of work. To say that I am overjoyed with my new walk-in shower and bathroom remodel would be an understatement and I highly recommend Northwest Craftsman, LLC to anyone looking for a competent and caring company for your next remodeling project."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
