After discussing initial diagnosis of the problem and possible repair options we ended up with replacing the gas furnace. His price was reasonable and he accommodated his schedule to install a new gas furnace during the New Year holiday. This morning I had to call Joel because the furnace was making some sporadic noise and I asked him to check it out for me. Honestly, I was hoping for him to look at it within a few days. He came to the house within 2 hours or so and took his time to find out the cause of the sporadic noise (he said apparently some loose metallic parts touching each other when the variable speed motor shifts to high speed mode making a banging noise). He said he tightened the loose parts to fix the problem. I am impressed with his timely response, professionalism and honesty. I recommend him for similar repairs and installations."
