A family owned business by 2 brother's, Sam and Isa who are dedicated to maintaining the integrity of the high quality workmanship their father started many years ago. "They gave me a bid for some roof repairs. The technician was quick to respond and spent time going over everything with me. A very nice, professional guy. He contacted me back to set up a time and was prompt on arrival. His crew found a few additional things during the repair which they fixed without raising the cost of the original quote. They also had to call around several other companies to find the right color match for my replacement shingles. I would definitely use AB1 construction again. The prices are reasonable, he is professional, and pays attention to detail. All of these characteristics are often hard to find with a contractor these days. "We hired A1 for two jobs. The first one was to repair a fireplace chimney. We had water coming down the chimney into the fireplace. They had to remove and replace top 10 tiers of brick, concrete, recap and paint the exterior. They were on time, professional, fairly priced and did a very good job. Clean worksite and easy to work with. It's been a few months and still no leaks. Just recently we had some roof damage in a totally unrelated area, opposite side of the roof and called Tony once again. Water was pouring into. our attic. In the middle of a storm Tony came, got up on a ladder to out two story roof and tarped it to prevent further water damage. He then came back and took care of all the repairs after the storm was over. He is a hard worker with great work ethic. Does the job properly and knows his stuff. We would hire him again and recommend ."

"Jimmy and his team did a fantastic job on our flat roof replacement and repair. He responded to my initial Home Advisor request very quickly, did a walkthrough within a couple days, and presented various repair options at different price-points. We hired him, and he and his team finished the job in just 1 day, which included replacing half of the roof entirely (down to the plywood), sealing and painting the other half, and replacing gutters! After Jimmy was finished, he asked us to take a look and make sure it was perfect. Only when it was perfect did we have to pay him (no deposit!). During our walk through, I noticed roof paint was dripping down the newly replaced white flashing around the perimeter of the housed. Jimmy sent his team out immediately to fix it. "Sam and his team were hired to repair/replace a concrete and tile patio after removal of an underground oil tank at my residence They began work promptly one day after the tank excavation had completed and within 2 days my patio had been fully rebuilt. Sam took meticulous care in ensuring the brick was matched to the original color and counseled me in choosing a bluestone surface which turned out stunning. His crew arrived promptly and put in two full days- a point which sounds like it should be a given but having had a very dissimilar experience with a previous contractor , this was a welcome change.
