"A chimney inspector told us that our chimney liner had separated from an interior wall and it needed a new liner to safely operate. Repair cost could be $5000 to $15,000 depending on what was needed. Paramount came out and inspected the fireplace and chimney and certified that it was fine. There was need for a new cap. The inspection and cap were $400. Paramount was confident that the chimney and fireplace are fine."

"After my metal chimney snapped and fell off the roof, I tried calling a few different companies, being told it was the busy season and that they would try and get me in eventually. I called Shamrock and talked with Chris who was able to schedule a quote for the next day. Joe and Darien arrived and told me they could fix it up right there and then. They installed a new liner, repaired the chimney from the roof up, replaced the cap and cleaned up all within an hour and a half. "Michael was amazing. He came out and peformed an evaluation to see the issue and figure identified some other issues. I received other quotes and the same things were identified. His quote was was fair. Not the lowest, but he was more thorough and we didn't want anymore issues due to poor workmanship. Also, he took the time to explain the issues and suggested we look it up (orphaned water heater, size of exhaust from water heater to chimney, chimney lining, poorly installed rain cap). I suspect that those with the lowest price sacrifice quaity. I didn't want to have to pay more to redo something later - because this is why we needed him to begin with a few months after buying the property. We don't feel like we have to worry about his work. They also cleaned up afterwards and even laid a cloth down at the entry way to keep the floors as clean as possible. He is our guy for the masonry work we need done in the spring and forevermore."
