Provided an estimate for service - rebuild from roof flashing up, repointing masonry, repairing mortar joints by replacing anything that’s deteriorated with new mortar. replaced the chimney crown and created a drip edge, installed stainless steel chimney pipe, cleaned and inspected the chimney, spot replaced spalling bricks on the chimney, power washed and sealed/waterproofed the chimney. Cleaned up work area thoroughly and provided photographs of chimney repair work before and after. Throughout the process, Chuck kept me informed daily on the progress and any issues he had found. "After my metal chimney snapped and fell off the roof, I tried calling a few different companies, being told it was the busy season and that they would try and get me in eventually. I called Shamrock and talked with Chris who was able to schedule a quote for the next day. Joe and Darien arrived and told me they could fix it up right there and then. They installed a new liner, repaired the chimney from the roof up, replaced the cap and cleaned up all within an hour and a half. "Project title is not the work performed - work was installing chimney cap. Rene of R&J Quality, LLC was extremely responsive (within 15 minutes) to my request to have a new chimney cap installed after the existing one had blown off due to extreme rust and age. From my vantage point on the ground, the second chimney cap appeared to be intact. He agreed to install the cap the next day even though there was snow and ice on the roof. Due to additional snowfall on the day of install, we agreed to reschedule for his safety on the roof. Two days later Rene came and installed the chimney cap despite there still being snow on the roof. He arrived at my home at the time he promised. He was very friendly and started working immediately. He took photos of the missing and exiting chimney cap. After examining the exiting cap, he showed me that it was also very rusty and that it would eventually need to be replaced. I appreciated him telling me about the condition of the existing cap. He did not try to hard sell me a new cap but rather was bringing the condition of the exiting cap to my attention. I thought it wise to have the other cap upgraded and replaced while he was here. I was very impressed with Rene and the work he performed. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing chimney work done. The cost of the two caps and labor was very fair and reasonable. "Our electric clothes dryer blew a thermal fuse because it got too hot. Fixed that but suspected a dryer duct blockage caused the high temperature. Found Chimney Masters through Angi. Requested quote. Good communication and scheduling process. Not cheap but reasonable price for the work done clearing out a 28 ft dryer vent that exists above the second story. Reasonable enough to do on their recommended every other year schedule. The cleaning made a mess outside but they cleaned everything up. They even reattached the dryer with a new flex duct. Would hire again."

"They called us on Wednesday after we got their info from Angi (formerly Angie's List and HomeAdvisor). They were able to come out this morning (2 days later). Other companies said that they didn't have any appointments available until January. They were on-time and spent about an hour inspecting and cleaning both our wood stove insert and the chimney. They also found 2 pieces of wood in the chimney that had been restricting air flow up the flue. These were removed and they conducted a test. Voila, the smoke traveled up the flue with no problems. During their inspection, they also found a couple of cracks in the exterior chimney bricks near the top. They provided an estimate for those repairs. All in all, it was a great experience. They were clean and professional. We would use them again. We were charged $189, which they said was a $20 discount off the regular price since we were Angi subscribers."

They detailed all the necessary repairs in an email including pictures of the damaged bricks and what steps they would take to fix or replace them. They arrived promptly on the scheduled day and wasted no time in getting the project done. It took 3 guys all day to do it, and my chimney has never looked better. Their work on my house is guaranteed for 5 years. I would recommend them to anyone."
