"I have two chimneys. I like contractors with no interest promotions that are able to finance without interests. This allows you to pay for service without interest before the promotion ends. So, you only pay the principal and no interest. You get wiggle room to pay at a rate you decide is comfortable for you.This is one of those companies. Also I like life time warranties on the service. This company has that too. I like contractors, who teach me and give me tips to maintain my home in a more cost effective way. This company does that. I used to buy logs to clean creosote from my fireplace. I learned it it safer to have chimney cleaned every 2yrs to prevent fires. Those logs don't clean at the level needed to get rid of all the creosote build up. I learned I had a 5ft bird nest in one if my chimneys,which was removed. I learned that one of my chimneyd was a death trap style chimney. A chimney that has space for animals to crawl in,make a nest and die from smoke inhalation in my chimney. I got a chimney cap to prevent that from happening. I also got the flashings fixed, chimney resealed to prevent water leakage into the house when it rains. The last wind storm almost tore off my other chimney.Also chimney cap has a spark preventer. So when burning ambers float up chimney the cap prevents ambers from getting on my roof and starting fires that could have burned down my house. Jacob taught me alot.I like when contractors are honest about what is needed and what is not. I like contractors who can repair and have the knowledge to repair instead of having to replace. Replace means more expense. I understand sometimes replace is the only option. However, replacement should not always be the answer. I like a contractor that can think on his/her feet not read out of a text book. I have found that issues are rarely ever text book. That describes the contractor I like to maintain my home. "Called this company, at first, to come repair two other contractors' cracked retaining wall and cracked flagstone walkway. Jacob came out the same day that I called to offer advice. He was very professional and offered some great advice. They fixed the cracks in the flagstone walkway first and did such an incredible job, I had them knock down my existing flowerbed retaining wall that had been built by another contractor 5 years ago that I never really liked, and went ahead and built me another retaining wall. Very smooth process all the way with the workers showing up on time and finishing in the time frame that Jacob said that they would. They even came out on Sunday and worked to finish the job. "I wish I could give this company ten stars. I feel unbelievably lucky that I came across them. They are professional, fast, efficient, and definitely know what they are doing. During a severe storm, on the night of March 2nd, 2023, the chimney of my house was badly damaged by winds of over 70 mph. The chimney cap and its housing structure were ripped right off the top of the chimney and thrown 50 yards into a neighbor's back yard. My immediate concern was to somehow cover the massive opening that left the inside the of chimney and the fireplace exposed to the outside elements. I contacted a different company first. They inspected the damage, gave me a quote, and charged me $400 dollars to placed a tarp over the opening. I was planning on using them to repair the structure, but the tarp the technician placed over the opening came off that very night and I lost confidence in them. I was desperate to get the opening covered and put an estimate request online. I was contacted by Eco Green Home Services who sent out David, one of their technicians, that very day. David inspected the damage and explained everything they would do to repair the chimney; he also assured me that the tarp he put up would stay in place. After talking to him, I felt very confident that the job would be done right and gave them the job. They did everything he said they would. Brick masons came out a couple days later and replaced the damaged and missing bricks at the top of the chimney. They had to remanufacture a new chimney cap structure because the original one was destroyed. David said it would take about three weeks and that is exactly how long it took. Surprisingly, the tarp David put up stayed in place through that very windy month of March. On April 2nd, they replaced the cap and structure and everything looks good as new. I am thrilled and cannot say enough good things about this company. They have my highest recommendation."
