"Dave and his crew are amazing. Dave responded quickly to our request for an estimate. He gave us a reasonable price and did not try to oversell us on things we did not need. When it was time to do the work, they came out and worked until the job was completed. Dave makes sure that everything is done right, is safe, and is up to code. Dave and his guys are very respectful of the fact that this is our home and treat us and our home with the utmost care. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dave and Positive electric."

Expert Electrical Troubleshooting/Problem Diagnosis, Electrical Service Panel/Wiring Upgrades, Interior/exterior lighting upgrades , and 7 more
"Very satisfied with the electrical work that Angel did today replacing two old recessed lights in my kitchen with new LED fixtures. We discussed a few different options and his knowledge of the products and installation made my decision an easy one. He arrived at the agreed upon time, worked efficiently, and gave me helpful information about my fixtures, all in a very professional way, and in addition to that he was also a nice guy. I will definitely call on him again for future projects."

Portable Generator Repair
"Mr. Rick Wagner is a real expert. I had three so called experts in standby generator repairs and they could not make the unit operational, even though they replaced every part that they thought was the problem. After several trial and error efforts replacing several parts, they could not identify the problem and told me that the unit could not be repaired. The interesting thing was that they were supposedly trained experts on Briggs and Stratton generators. Their recommendation was to buy a new unit. Mr. Wagner not only identified the problem within an hour of coming and seeing the unit but after ordering the parts made the unit operational within two hours. I would highly recommend him. He is trustworthy, honest, hard working and very knowledgeable. A truly REAL EXPERT who knows his business. Stephen T. M."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
