Solar System Removal and Reinstall - Re-roofs, Electric Car Charging Stations - Service and Install, Residential Main Service Upgrades , and 2 more
"Yep, Indaspec is a five start company. They were responsive and professional. The system we got has boosted our 2003 system and cost 1/5th the price. It will pay itself off in 3 years, possibly less. They were efficient in the installation - took about 1.2 days. The connection between our system and the app on our phones is super easy and now my husband and I have been high- fiving each other once we find out how much the new system is producing. Get the solar, Guys! This company is a gem! The office manager is a sweetheart and the bidding process was easy. The installer was a man of few words for me (I didn't really know anything about the tech part), but took time to speak to my curious and informed contractor husband. He was patient and explained everything so that my husband felt satisfied that he was doing right by our beloved and somewhat coddled home."

Electrical for Home Addition or Remodel - Install, Electrical Wiring or Panel Upgrade, Electrical Switches, Outlets & Fixtures - Install or Repair
"Scope of Work: Tami completely rewired our 2000 sq. foot home to 2016 code. He also installed a hard-wired L2 car charging station. The work was comprehensive, including a main panel replacement, as well as new sub panels - including one in our detached garage. Every wire, circuit breaker, switch and outlet was replaced and at our request, so were all ceiling fans and lighting fixtures (interior and exterior). New lighting fixtures were also added to each closet, basement, attic and garage. Quality of work: His work was fast, clean, of high quality and his pricing was more than fair. His knowledge of building code is complete. Our home was built in 1918 with plenty of plaster on walls and ceilings. Tami has experience working with older homes and handled our job well - not a single plaster crack. Going above and beyond: Tami is focused on customer satisfaction and did many things, free of charge, not called out in his original scope of work. For example: adding additional outlets, switches and light fixtures in convenient locations that we identified after work had started. Tami is also accessible; not once did I call his phone when he didn't answer. I would not hesitate working with Tami again or recommending him to others."

"Jacob installed my new EV charger. He did an excellent job taking great care in cutting my drywall in the garage to access the main panel outside and then place the wiring in a manner that was as hidden as possible- all at a very fair price. I would recommend him highly and will call on him for future jobs."

"Ahmed, was professional, and friendly. I had an outlet burn up in my garage. I usually change out my own outlets and switches. But since there was an issue I hired Ahmed. He not only fixed the outlet he installed a designated outlet for my car charger and replaced a breaker. I would hire Ahmed in a heart beat to do any electrical work at my house."

"Ray was instrumental in upgrading the electrical in my townhome, including installing new recessed lights, light fixtures, replacing receptacles with new ones and modern cover plates. He also relocated and installed a new subpanel providing dedicated circuits to appliances and the newly installed recessed lights. Ray is incredibly knowledgeable and very easy to work with and I would recommend him and happily use his services again."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
