"My project was to replace a degraded 3 feet high railroad tie retaining wall on one side of our driveway. Jose at Dardah Landscaping was prompt and professional, and the estimate they gave was very competitive. He gave me a few options to consider, depending on my budget. After a prompt site visit, I accepted their proposal for a stone wall to match an existing stone wall on one side of our property. Work started in just a few days and was completed in a timely manner. They made sure there was minimum disruption to my personal schedule. While the job was in progress, we discussed a couple adjustments that would enhance the appearance of the completed wall. We settled on a few finishing landscaping touches, which added a few dollars but really makes our front yard look good (and saved me a couple weeks with a shovel and pitch fork. I am very pleased with their work and would recommend Dardah for similar work without hesitation."

"If you live anywhere near Newton MA, and are planning to have landscaping work done, you should give the folks at StoneWall Landscapes a call. We hired them this summer to do some long-deferred landscaping improvements, and we couldnâ t be happier. Weâ ll definitely use them again. At our property we wanted to: â ¢ Replace the existing driveway and its adjacent stone wall â ¢ Replace the brick steps and concrete walkway that lead to our front door â ¢ Re-build a 6-foot-high stone retaining wall in the back yard â ¢ Re-grade the front and back yards and upgrade our plantings StoneWall Landscapes did it all. They listened carefully to what we wanted and worked with us to design a solution that met our needs and our budget. They were honest, flexible and straightforward, with excellent communication habits. As work progressed, the folks at StoneWall also: â ¢ Saved us money by moving our existing â matureâ shrubs to the back yard â ¢ Installed a full irrigation system in front and back â ¢ Replaced the decking and railings on our 25-year-old deck (using their carpentry sub-contractor) â ¢ Added drainage pipes to our existing downspouts The StoneWall crew are punctual, hard-working, professional, considerate, and consistently helpful. They work together well, demonstrating a depth of experience in this family-owned business. The crew left the work site clean each night, and even helped clean up after some less-careful work by a different contractor that weâ d hired. At the end of the project we were thrilled with the results. We got compliments from all of the neighbors, but the real credit goes to StoneWall Landscapes. "Chris did an excellent job building our walkway and patio! His work was so good that we hired him to plant our Arborvitae trees and other miscellaneous work around our property, which he was happy to do! His work ethic is impeccable. He completed the projects on time. His quote was very reasonable for the amount of work (we did compare with several other contractors). Also, he was the ONLY contractor who brought a catalogue of his OWN work, not some brand name book showing edited pictures to look good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND hiring Chris for your hardscape project. You will not be disappointed."

"Robert and his helper did a fantastic job of replacing the asphalt in my cracked and stained driveway with stone pavers. He also repaired the stucco that had cracked and fallen off two sides of my concrete foundation. The finished job looks beautiful and I'm very pleased. Robert and his co-worker were punctual and hardworking. Neither of the masons smoked, which was a plus for me. Everything was clean and swept up after they left. Strong Rock Masonry's price was lower than the other contractor who bid for the job. I recommend Strong Rock without reservation. They did such a nice job, I've asked them for an estimate on a fence."

He has great communication and followup, he shared pictures as examples of his work and brought over sample patio stones to select. He let me know promptly when rain delayed the start date, and answered my questions about his plan. He moved a plant I wanted to keep, which showed good thoughtfulness. Excellent quality work, efficient completion. I'd work with him again."

"Vilchez is more than just a landscaping company. I had some challenging work needed on my property and Jose and his team exceeded expectations on all counts. Pardon the long but impressive list: 1) completely rebuilt a crumbling 40-foot retaining rock wall along my driveway -looks fantastic 2) completely rebuilt a 60-70 foot deteriorated, curving retaining rock wall in my back yard that is literally holding back an angry steep hill, and cleaned up much of the stuff growing on it - again, beautiful work and it's a pleasure just looking at my new wall 3) re-pointed and re-sealed my chimney - I recently had some random leaks in the house during rain - just after the fix, it rained for a solid three days and 0 leaks! 4) removed a huge (9-10 ft) yew from the side yard and trimmed a monster rhododendron next to it (just as tall). The rhodo now looks like it belong in a painting. Ran out of room, so to conclude, Jose has very fair and reasonable rates and we have more work to do :)"
