Comment: We are remodeling our master bathroom.
We are considering installing a small, stackable washer dryer and making better use of our vertical wall space for cabinetry.
The bathroom is on the third floor of our house in a dormer that was built during a renovation in the 80s. As we explore the washer dryer, we would also like to investigate the cost of installing a minisplit in our dining room (1 floor under the bathroom), since plumbing and electrical would have to be updated going through those walls anyway. The bathroom currently does not have a vent.
We are investigating keeping costs down by using a pre-made kit that would not require moving the plumbing from the existing location. We will be completely replacing everything in the bathroom, including the floor. We want to investigate radiant heat in the floor.
