"Christian went above and beyond to help me with a tough tile project in my bathroom. There were 7 broken ceramic tiles and a missing threshold. He was able to replace the tiles with some new ceramic tiles that I found and create a square design with smaller Italian tiles I had, which came out beautifully and he also fixed the cement underneath to create a smooth and even floor, and regrout, and installed a beautiful new marble threshold. After a few conversations, I quickly noticed that he is passionate and cares about delivering quality work and communicates with you about the process to ensure that you are happy with the outcome. Also, he is flexible and adaptable and takes great pride in his craftsmanship, and I can see why he has so many excellent reviews. He is not only a very hard working man, who is committed to giving it his all, he cares deeply about working with you to ensure your project is done professionally, honestly, and affordably. "Father and son team with 2 other workers, father is mason with decades of experience. Their work on 2 walkways was spectacular. They used existing bluestones, put down a 3 inch concrete pad first, cemented bluestones in place, mortared joints. Then they lined the border with 4 inch wide stone (similar to cobblestones bitch cut flat). Truly an excellent job. I would hire them again, and strongly recommend them."

It took a couple a of days for the floor to dry, and a primer coating was applied, and then the last coating, I learned it is a Polymer. "We hired Hilario's Construction to build a retaining wall. The retaining wall is holding up the driveway so it was very important that a strong wall was built. Tomas and his crew demolished the old wall, removed the debris from the property, and constructed a new retaining wall. The work they performed was outstanding. The wall is strong and very attractive. They took the time to color match the stones with the side wall and installed drains to prevent water from building up behind the wall. What was originally a wall of cement and an eye sore became a beautiful stone wall that now adds character to my backyard. After the wall was completed, Tomas and his crew cleaned up the entire area, no small pebbles, cement, or debris of any kind was left behind. They even filled in cracking in another area of my yard. I highly recommend Tomas and his crew to anyone seeking an honest, experienced company specializing in masonry work. We would hire them again in a heartbeat!"

"Originally hired MJ Masonry to replace an existing railroad tie retaining wall and like most projects there was mission creep. I asked Michael of MJ Masonry if they were interested in taking on 2 additional projects: replacing an old stockade fence with a new one, and replacing a cement walkway with a stone walkway. We agreed on the price of the 2 additions and all projects were completed to the original schedule within 3 weeks of the start date. Details of the projects: 1. Retaining Stone Wall is over 130 linear feet 2. Stockade Fence is approximately 88 linear feet 3. Stone Walkway is approximately 63 square feet The workers lead by Jose are consummate professionals. They went above and beyond what is required to do their job. It was the little things like cleaning up after themselves and repairing annoyance type things that is not in the contract without being asked. At the end of the entire project, my wife and I were so pleased with MJ Masonry's work, we gave them a modest bonus. The icing on the cake was when some of our neighbors coming over and telling us the day after the projects completion that the Retaining Stone Wall, the Stockade Fence, and the Stone Walkway looks beautiful."
