Probably the most bind-boggling thing is that he does the vast majority of the work himself and by himself. "Costs increased about 10% over estimate, work was well done and the final product was professional and well-built. Communication could have been better, the builder promised weekly meetings but that didn't happen. All in all, we were happy at the end of it all, and all questions were answered and all finishes to our satisfaction, which if you've ever worked with a contractor before, you know isn't a given. 5/5 would work with them again, the fireplace mantel and threshhold was particularly well done."

Asked several questions about issue I was having and set up an appointment to have someone assess the problem at no charge within the week. Issue clearly identified and suggested remedy explained in detail. Hired company to do job. "We live atop a steep hill in Coolidge Corner. We purchased our home in 2019, and the home originally had a back deck that was in disrepair. We initially thought that a patio was out of our budget but Jerry worked with us in getting a paver patio within budget. Because of that, Stonewall Landscapes was able to do a complete overhaul of our property. This included adding tiers and landscaping to our front hill, designing a side path, and installing a paver patio, retaining wall, lawn/garden, and privacy fencing in our back yard. We are beyond thrilled with their work. Jerry worked with us in figuring out what we wanted our front hill and backyard to look like in terms of landscaping, and Jerry incorporated our ideas when selecting which plants/trees/shrubs to plant. Jerry is incredibly detailed-oriented, and his team is professional and efficient. They were here before 8am every day and worked 6 days a week to finish our project in about 3 weeks. At the end of each day, the team made sure that the work area was neat and clean before they left for the day. They were ahead of schedule and on budget. The work crew was extremely efficient and did a terrific job. I expanded the scope of the project because I was so satisfied with the work that I asked if they could also paint and stain the deck after the repairs and replacements on railings, floorboards, and supports. They also did very timely repairs on an apartment I had already rented, so the tenant was coming in a couple of weeks. The double deck looks like new!
