"We needed a structural engineer to come inspect our basement as part of a pending sale. We had a rather short turn around and Omid came to the rescue. He responded right away and was able to come on short notice. He was very knowledgeable and good at explaining things simply. Omid was able to certify the building and provided a thorough report and letter indicating such - also with a quick turn around. I would highly recommend Omid if you need a structural engineer."

My husband was impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. Doug promised that he would get the report to us within 7 days. We received the report within 6 days. Doug explained his report and what we needed to do upon our return to the permit office. He also stressed that if we have any problems at the permit office to call him immediately."

Comment: Exterior stairs were removed by the contractor to be replaced. Now he says that a crack in the ceiling under the porch, where the stairs were attached needs to be repaired, and the cost has increased three the original amount. I need to find out what is needed in order to have the back stairs constructed, and any areas under the back porch repaired along with an idea of estimated cost. Also, the columns under the front porch must be replaced because the property owner next-door refuses to upgrade their gutter system which causes water to go inside my roof over the porch and down the column which is caused major damage. Now Contractor says that the cost repairs may increase after a set price was agreed-upon.
