I contacted Home Advisor to find me an electrician to take down a security light on a 20 foot pole and put a new one up already wired and just needed to be raised 3 feet. I sent them a pic so they knew exactly what was needed. I only got one respondent WireOne. Seemed good, customer service extremely attentive and remained so during the work period. The first time the man showed up he was not prepared with the proper ladder nor have a socket set. Reschedule three days later. Call from customer service they were overbooked and wanted to reschedule for a week later. A week later a call a half hour before the 2 hour window... there was an emergency and the service man was redirected someplace else and I was assured he would come that same day between 1 and 4pm. Did not show in that period but an hour later a text saying he would be here 45 to 60 minutes and he was here 55 minutes. The job took 20 minutes cost $260.00. I am not complaining about the cost....I knew what they were charging and I had agreed so no problem. I handed him a check and he wants to run it as a debit on the spot. I take that as he don't think my check is good and so a little insensitive but ok I have nothing to hide. The job is fine. I am just glad its done. I don't like to be put on hold 4 times where I reschedule my life and then the job is not done. Had he came prepared the first time I would give the 5 stars but only2 stars cause I didn't know for sure if they would do the job or not and I can't and I don't want to hire someone else and two show up. Bottom line glad job is done but I would not hire WireOne.

Hey Emma! Sorry to see the 3 star review. I looked into your job and see that John and David was there last week for about 2.5 hours. John is usually very particular and an excellent electrician so I was surprised to see 2.5 on his quality of work. If there is anything we can do to make it better we would be happy to do so!

Very high priced. Changed some basement lights without permission then charged an exorbitant amount. Tech was friendly and knowledgeable, but definitely felt I was manipulated.
