As of this review it has been 25 days since the install of 10 windows. West Shore Home ruined our home. They used a cut off tool to remove our old windows and this left at least a 1/2 inch to a 1 Inch cut in the vinyl siding of our home in each direction of every corner of every window meaning there are now 80 slices in the siding of our home leaving it vulnerable to moisture and insects, etc. On some windows there are bigger holes and along the sides are slices down the sides where the siding was cut and the underside left exposed. The plastic drip edgeing placed around the windows do not match on any corners of any windows, making the home look horrible. In addition, they are crooked, not parallel and inconsistent with each other. We got these windows in hopes of increasing the value of our home and were supposed to have an appraisal the following week but as the home sits currently, there is red tape on each window and clear silicone filling in all of the holes of the house so that it can be protected while West Shore Home figures out how to fix the damage.

I know the rating my seem harsh but I have to express my honest opinion. This was a painful process and this company needs to step up there game especially for clients who are investing over $100,000 and entrusting them with our home. I think the main problem is they try to work too fast and so several big mistakes are made that end up costing us a lot more time. Management isnâ t easy to communicate with. This service was not worth $100,000 I can tell you that much. Iâ m still waiting another couple weeks for vanity parts that they brought over that were damagedâ ¦this project is never ending and we are tired and disappointed

WSH brags about how they are customer friendly. Could not have been further from the truth than on our project. From the mess the workers left behind in the beginning of the project to the inexperienced people sent to provide some service work after the project was in, did they meet our expectations at all. Once they got our money it seemed like they did not care about making the customers happy. They promote their "Peace of Mind Limited Warranty" as something you can count on to use and be happy with the project. We tried to use it as it says and we are not happy. Now we are left with a potential hazard in the shower. No manager had the courtesy to call me to explain why we got the run around on the problems that surfaced on our project. We would never recommend Westshore Home based on our experience and would advise anyone to be careful to read everything closely before signing on for a project with them.
