Write a ReviewUniversal Windows direct Baltimore The service promised (Window Install) was to be completed by 26 September 2024 and the service hasn't been completed/delivered. I was misquoted my window installation completion date and was not informed of a charge order, which delayed my window install for 2 months, per management. Donâ t believe salesperson (Josh) is still with the company, because I asked for a return call from him to explain what was the issue with my delivery date. The return call never happened. Get all conversation agreed upon in writing and verified it's correctness. Do not rely on their contract to cover the verbal agreement made between you and the salesperson. As they will continue to reference their contract as their guide for all non deliveries, and any other issues that may occur. Universal windows will disregard the agreement that was stated between you and the salesperson, which I relied on the salesperson to note my concerns. That wasn't done and my explanation didnâ t matter when talking with Universal Windowsâ Management. My delievery date was very important to me because I was to be on Intâ l travel the end of September 2024. Work/order hasnâ t been completed yet (11 November 2024). As a veteran, I expected a lot more.

I signed this contract in May and put $1,000 down. It is now October and cold with no word during the 4 months of what the hold up was. Finally, I get a call in mid-October with an installation appointment. 2 days later, I get a call saying my installation is canceled because their contractor quit and we can not reschedule until they hire a new one. DO NOT SIGN ON WITH THIS COMPANY.
Great job. They got windows installed in 1 day and were 3 weeks ahead of the scheduled time . The installers were amazing to deal with even cleaned up the mess I made tearing stone off the front of house to get bay window out. I will be using them for install on front door and sliding patio door, great company to work with and are local

Make sure when your windows are measured, that you request and installation professional and the measurement individual to come together to measure your windows. Because if there is an error in measurements the delay will not be compensated for the time you need to adjust your work schedule, if you work and need to be home during the install. I had to take off two days and another one for an upcoming window that was miss measured. Excellent quality of Windows however and excellent installation professionals.

I would have gave them five stars. but appointment scheduling is a little pushy my windows were not suppose to be in until February. I was forced to change my plans. Instead of paying storage fee at the warehouse. Cleveland area manager has absolutely zero people skills with customer. Sale man was great 5stars. Window measurement was great 5 stars. Installers were great 5 stars. Customer service from manager 0 stars.

This crew showed up on time and got to work. Very friendly and thorough. The install is perfect and they got it done pretty quickly. Canâ t say more about how pleased I am with this group of installers.

I would have given 5 stars but only thing that got me is they were smoking outside while installing the windows so the smell of smoke was coming into my house.
