Write a ReviewProject manager is very polite and knowledgeable, work crew did a great job, team lead speaks English well, but rest of the crew don't. Overall, I would recommend United Painting to anyone.
painting not yet complete. Will complete this rating when the job is done
Job is scheduled for early June. will complete this rating after the job is done
Very nice crew...they work extremely hard and I would hire them again!!
I would consider hiring this company for other home improvement projects in the future.
They did an incredible amount of prep work before they even began painting. I was impressed by that and by the way they cleaned up the work area every evening before they left. They were quiet, neat, courteous and reliable. The carpentry work I asked them to do turned out to be quite expensive so make sure you get an exact quote before they do the work. The hourly rate ($45/hr) was "per person per hour" not for the actual time it took to do the job as a whole.
Sent deposit in April for complete renovation of exterior (new trim, new siding and painting). 3 months of phone calls to get guys onsite after originally told 5 weeks. The worksmanship was very amateur to the point most had to be redone by our current crew. Project management is awful. Manager was constantly cancelling appointments and seemed to be in way over his head. No one ever took ownership for the project which one of this size requires. We ended the contract with United before the job was even 1/2 completed as we have absolutley no confidence they would be able to deliver a quality job and complete it any time soon.
Nice guys and good project manager. Difficult to communicate with crew Owner less than helpful. He said, "I hope I didn't give you the impression that I handle the day-to-day details." Wondering how work will hold up.
VERY disappointed w/ the quality of work. A visitor to my home didn't believe the final product was the work of professionals. For example...Subpar trim work. Uneven painting at ceiling and molding. Paint left on cabinets and floors. Holes were painted over and not patched. Areas with only one coat of paint that I had to remind them to paint. Reinstalled my blinds and broke one. At first, left without completing the job. VERY little attention to detail. I chose the company with the highest bid & most promises. You certainly can't tell from the finished product. The marketing materials were mostly hype.
