I hired Robert Meyer in August 2016 on the recommendation of Home Advisor when he owned Rocky Mountain Property Service, LLC in Brighton, CO. He installed a composite deck (which was not to code and unsafe), installed a cedar privacy fence (which was missing nails to hold rails and pickets and had the use of roofing nails instead of wood nails and paid over $1300 for staining / weatherproofing that was not done), installed sprinklers (which the drip system and substandard heads had leaks EVERYWHERE and did not adequately water the lawn and plants) and installed landscaping (which didn't have enough fabric and rock laid down to prevent weed growth and cover drip system). I paid him $31,118.37 to complete this large project. I have paid $10,385.33 to qualified contractors to repair and redo the original work. Since he moved from Colorado to Florida in March of 2017, I am not able to take him to Adams County Small Claims Court in Colorado to recover a monetary award. Robert was very responsive in the beginning but the quality of work was lacking!!! I have requested numerous times for repair or refund, with no response. I am a senior and just trusted that the work would be completed with quality. He just took the money and ran!!! I would not recommend him for landscaping although he is qualified to do just mowing and trimming!!!!
